Hiccups POV
I had been in that boring old cell for 4 days now, and I was finally being set free today. About time.
I sat down on the low, wooden creaky bench that was supposed to be a bed and a seat and a table all in one. It was the only thing that filled the dull room. I stood up and started pacing, trying to get the feeling back in my leg. (May the leg jokes commence!! XD)
By early morning, I was still pacing, starting to get rid of the annoying energy that wasn't going away. I eventually sat down again, and the guard came to get me for my release. Toothless gets walked out with me, a muzzle holding his mouth together. We arrive in the centre, to find again, the whole village waiting. I push off the guards and break my handcuffs on a nearby rock. I start fiddling with Toothlesses saddle, checking I wasn't going to fall sideways mid-flight. When I thought everything was ready, I looked at the tail. Darn, it was ripped. It was going to take at least a day to fix, and I didn't have that time.
As I cursed under my breath, I took off the tail, walking over to the armoury.
"What are you doing?"
"Well you bozos broke the tail I need to fly with, so I can't leave unless I fix it."
They only then realise that Toothless had lost a tail fin. Doofuses.
I walked to the armoury and Gobber walked in, staring intently at what I was doing.
"Um...."
"So you can do things!"
"Well yeah, why wouldn't I be able to do things?"
"I don't know..."

"Um.... Well I'm going to continue..."
"Ok..."
I roll my eyes in my head at our awkward conversation. How could someone think that I couldn't do things?
I continue sewing up the tail, then realise that some of the gears are bent or broken in wrong shapes, which would make us plummet downwards if we tried to fly with it.
Great. We were stuck.
