I walked down the staircase to see the male standing and looking around curiously in the middle of the room.

"Nice place you got here," he says

"Thanks."

"So where's the Cola?" he asks as he turns to face me. "I hope you didn't lie to me and send me into a trap to kill me or take me back to Tord. Or you probably know him as 'Red Leader'."

"I know that Red Leader's name is Tord." the man looked confused at my answer. "As for the Cola..." I pulled a can out from my bag.

"Here ya go," I said as I tossed it to him. He catches it with a giant smile and opens the can.

"Thanks! I never thought I would drink this stuff again!" he beams

"You're welcome. I stole a couple of cans while I was in their base." I walked over to my desk and put the Time Travel device back on my wrist. The man stopped drinking and looked at me with curiosity and shock.

"You were the one who sneaked into his base?"

I hesitated before answering. "Yeah... How'd you know that?"

"Because my friend Tom told me-" He paused "Wait..." He dropped the can, which was empty now, as I saw him look at the device on my wrist, then at my robotic body parts.

"What?"

"Um... Can I ask you a couple of questions so I can make sure I'm right about something?"

"Sure. I guess." I shrugged "But can I know your name first?"

"Yeah sure. I guess if you know my name, I don't have to ask questions."

"Why?" I wondered

"Because my name is Edd."

I gasped "It's... It's really you Edd?"

He smiled with tears building up "Yeah. It is... (Y/N)."

I smiled brightly as I ran up and hugged him tightly as he laughed and picked me up and spun me around.

"I missed you," I whispered as he set me down.

"I missed you too." He pulled back and cupped his hands around the cheeks on my face. (You bloody perverts) "I thought you died."

"I almost did." I smiled determination "But I won't let them break me down to dust."

Edd smirked and crossed his arms "Did you just quote the song "This Is Me" from "The Greatest Showman" ?" he questioned

"Maybe..." I smirked back

"Even during a war, you still find a way to make someone smile." Edd chuckled "Do you remember when we would sing and dance to "The Other Side" to annoy Tom?"

"Oh yeah!" I giggled at the memories "And if Matt was around, he would ask us for an encore or to sing another song so he could record it on his phone."

"Tom would be so pissed and throw his beer bottles at us to shut us up!"

"And if that didn't work, Eduardo would yell at us. Then we would just sing as loud as we could to annoy the hell out of him!"

Edd and I were now holding our stomachs from laughing our asses off. We wiped tears away from our eyes as we looked at each other with red faces from laughing so hard. "Do you want to sing and the ending part to sort of relive those moments? I know that's when Tom starts having enough of us, so that's the best part of us singing that song."

You guys finished singing and dancing with smiles bigger than before. "That was fun!" you gleamed.

"Yeah, it was!"

Your eyes widen as you realize something. "Oh! I forgot! Where are you going to sleep?"

"Oh." Edd scratched the back of his neck. "I could take the floor. This is your place after all."

"Okay." You simply said.

"Wait, what?!" Edd shouts "NO! You were supposed to say "No. I'll take the floor. You can take the couch." as everyone else does!"

"Well, then you should've said that you'll take the couch." I passed him. "This ain't a movie or fanfic."

Edd sighed as he facepalmed "Okay. How about this? We'll share the couch like we did when we fell asleep during a movie."

I blushed "Um... Y-Yeah. That'll work fine."

'I've never been this happy in years. I'm glad Edd managed to escape and found his way here.'
