AMIYA POV

These past couple days empire been busy well my family to and of course my dad is shutting me out on everything but it's whatever right now I'm in school at lunch with my friends and my phone keeps going off I check it and it's a whole bunch of text messages from my mom and brothers saying that dad past out he's at the hospital

Tj: what's wrong

Amiya: my family text me and told me my dads in the hospital

Jade: omg is he alright

Amiya: I don't know he's probably just fine

I text them back and told them that I have a test so I'll be at the hospital later

Amiya: I'll just go check on him later it doesn't sound that serious

Tj: are u sure

Karmen: I know ur mad at him but it doesn't mean u shouldn't check on him

Amiya: it's not like I'm not going I'm just not gonna go right now

Karmen: ok miya

After class I didn't even go to the hospital I know it's wrong but I'm still mad and mostly because of the new girl artist situation plus I found out since this whole Anika snitch thing he trying to find artists like hello u have a talented daughter right in front of  u but anyway I went and grabbed me some Chinese food and I went home and took a shower then opened a bottle of wine and sat down at my computer and started my homework a few min into my homework Tj text me and told me he was at my door i opened it and let him in we went and sat on the couch

Amiya: so wasup

Tj: I came to check on u and see how ur dad doing and I wanted to talk to u

Amiya: umm he's doing ok

Tj: yo ass ain't go the the hospital

Amiya: I did

Tj: Amiya Nicole Lyon

Amiya: ok I didn't go but can we not talk about this right now cuz I'm gonna hear it from my family later now what did u want to talk about

Tj: I think I'm gonna have to quit school

Amiya: what why what's going on

Tj: things are getting worse between me and Larry he's putting his hands on my momma in front of my sister and brother and he got her doing drugs I need to get us up out there before I end doing something I regret so I need to make some money fast if u know what I mean

Amiya: yeah I know what u mean but hell no ur not bout to sell drugs I'm sorry about all ur going through

Tj: thanks but maya I have to I got a brother and sister to look after

Amiya: how u gonna look after them if u in jail or dead

Tj: I ain't gonna do it for long just gonna make enough till we straight

Amiya: and how long will that take

Tj: I got a guy to set me up with the big shit
So I make more look this will be good to so I can pay for college plus I got my baby momma on my back about money for this and money for that
