An Old Face

Sam woke up in a cold sweat, his hair a one big tangle, his bed a mess. It took him a moment to notice the angel towering over him. Castiel was back, and in his fist were ten perfect feathers.

How could one describe them? Archangel feathers change depending on who is looking at them. To Cas, they were the green of Dean's eyes, with the flecks of gold he knew so well. Sam saw something he hadn't

seen in almost ten years. He saw the rippling color of Jessica's blonde locks, all caramel and spun gold, that sparked in the sunshine like nothing else Sam had ever seen. He almost cried at the sight.

To mask the lump in his throat, Sam coughed, and said, "So do we have everything? Can we do the summoning?"

"Yes, Sam, and we should do it as soon ad possible. The longer Dean remains with Crowley, the faster what remains of his humanity burns away."

Sam nodded his head, and said, "Then let's do it now. No time to waste, right?"

Dean felt amazing. The power, rushing through his veins, and the feeling of finally being rid of the baggage he had carried all those years, the pain, the guilt. He never wanted to go back to being human.

"Um, sir?" a demon asked, terrified of the the most feared Hunter, and now the most feared demon, of all time.

"What is it?" Dean asked. "Can't you see that I'm busy?" Dean was just finishing up torturing one of the Abbadon loyalists Crowley had given him to question.

"Its just that, the King has asked to see you." The demon then quickly disappeared, her message having been delivered.

Dean sighed, and finished off the demon he was working on with the Blade. The Mark burned, filling Dean with the pleasure of a kill. He closed his eyes, and visualized the throne room of the King of Hell. He opened his eyes.

"What do you want, Crowley?" Dean asked.

Crowley narrowed his eyes, and said, "Well Hallo to you too, Squirrel. There is a demon I want you to fetch for me. She's messed with the King too many times. Bring her to me.

Dean appeared where he sensed this demon was, and was most surprised to find who it was standing next to him.

"Meg? What the Hell?" Dean asked.

"I could ask you the same question."
