Next morning, it was late morning for Regina because it was Saturday and she no longer has a teen she have to prepare a breakfast for. So she just sat at the island in the kitchen with now lukewarm coffee in her hands. She wasn't mad. She was confused and upset. She couldn't understand her other half from last night at the bar. She clearly cared about Emma. But when their eyes met, there were not a single piece of anger aimed at her in counterpart's eyes. There was only what she can see as reassurance and love. Love toward what or who? She isn't capable of love! She's evil. Right?

Regina was too deep in her thought that she didn't hear the door bell rang. Then she heard door being knocked when she shook herself from her thoughts.
She walked to the front door, not really thinking about who would visit her in Saturday morning.

So she couldn't be more surprised when the other half stood there almost sheepishly when she opened the door.
"Hello dear. Can we talk?"

Awkward wasn't enough word to explain this situation. Regina was sitting at the dining table with her other half, whom supposed to be evil and heartless. However, she was completely opposite, the 'Evil' Queen is wearing something out of Emma's closet but a bit more refined; tight dark jeans, light green blouse, and black leather jacket. In addition to that, her features are more relaxed and peaceful even in this bizarre situation.

"Uh, so how have you been?" The Queen asked nervously after clearing her throat.

"Cut the crap and get to the point! What do you want? You came here to show off that you got life with Emma and I didn't?"

"Agh, I hate really myself." The Queen murmured. "Fine. No more being polite then. As much as I want to, no I'm not here to rub my perfect life on your face. However, I have proposition for you." The Queen gave her twin an evil smirk.

"What is it? I will not accept anything that will hurt my family." Regina snarled.

"Think about it, I care the same people you care. We are one person after all. But, I'm not sure if you care about Emma though." The Queen shot back.

"I do care! Only if she let me..." Regina said the last part almost to herself.

"Then, you will take my offer. I want us to merge back." The Queen said too kindly that made Regina even more suspicious. Why would this bitch offer something like that?

"You know I can easily guess what you are thinking right? You answer your question, I want to merge back because Emma asked me to marry me and I want to able to love her with my whole heart, literally." The Queen confessed. Wait, is she ...blushing?

Regina just froze. She was sure that her heart stopped beating and she felt like her world had just ended. Emma had proposed her evil half. She truly loved her. And the Queen loved her back. She didn't know what to feel. She couldn't help but to think that it could been her to get married with Emma if she wasn't so stupid all those years ago. Together with her true love with wonderful children. Not the she didn't love Henry any less, but she could have been mother to her biological child.

"Look I know you are shocked or whatever, but I don't want you to think that Emma stopped loving you. She doesn't love easily and once she does, she loves them with all her heart. You know that more than anyone. So I just want to give all of mine. She deserves to be loved wholeheartedly more than anyone. Won't you want that too?" The Queen asked.

"Yes, I do wish Emma to be happy. But she wants you, not me. She clearly moved on." Regina answered couldn't hide her pain from her other half.

"I hope I was worth that much for her. Every time she looks at me, she sees love of her life. But at the same time she sees the last person who abandoned her like everyone else. What could be worse than your True Love rejecting you. And she blames herself for that. She still thinks you abandoned her because she wasn't worth enough. I worked whole 5 years to persuade her that she is more than enough. But I still can't wipe away that bit of pain in her eyes when she looks at me." The Queen confessed with so much sadness and hint of anger.

"But it was me. I wasn't good enough for her. I was the one who made the stupid choice. It was never her fault." Regina said angrily, frustrated mostly to herself.

"I know that. But have you ever told her that? That is exactly why I want to merge back with you, so that I can tell her that I truly love her, that WE love her, with all my heart." The Queen said surprisingly sincerely to Regina.

"I need time to think. As much as I love her I'm not ready to be back with my 'evil' half just yet. Though, it sounds like maybe I was the evil one after all." Regina said the last part mostly to herself.

"Okay. Just take this and think of the future and what's best for our family." The Queen pulled out an envelope from her purse and handed to Regina. Then she stood up and left the house without another word.

Regina was staring at the envelope in her hand for while and didn't move until she heard the front door shut. She was thinking about the offer she was given. She can have a future with Emma, only if she accepts the part of her that she hated the most. It was too much for her right now. Regina put the envelope on the table and stood up. She walked towards her study to pour herself some apple cider. It was still around noon, but who cares she had no one to impress.

Her life now is miserable. Henry is gone to attend college. Robin broke up with her after he met the doppelgänger of Marian. Storybrooke now had some refugees from another realms after a random portal opened in middle of the Main Street couple years ago. Marian was part of that group refugees. Apparently, she was a widow who promised with her late husband that they will see each other in different life, with husband who happens to look exactly like Robin. So the fate messed up with her life again. But this time she felt somehow relieved. She didn't even felt the void in her heart like it did when a certain blonde left the town. The night Robin left, she cried. She cried not because of Robin, but of the stupidity of letting her happiness slip away because she was afraid of being loved once again.
