5. The Final Talk

A couple months later...

The Evil Queen let out another sigh as she saw the two true loves acted through her mirror in the volt. She cursed her other half to show both her that her happy ending was right in front her, but it didn't go in the way she hoped. Now for almost two months, she had to see them trying to avoid each other from much needed talk, and barley talk to each other. After Regina woke up from the curse, Emma suggested Regina through Henry they would tell the others that it was him who woke her up and Regina agreed. Emma asked Ruby to keep her mouth shut and promised to talk to the mayor later about it.

The Queen was too engulfed in her disappointment that she didn't notice someone enter the room behind her.

"I know why you did it." Henry said when he entered the room.

"I bet you do by your attempts of making your mothers talk." The Queen turned around and smiled warmly at her son.

"They are too stubborn and stupid. They finally found out that they belong together but they just ignored it. And it's even worth that they aren't even acting like friends anymore." Henry huffed as he sat on a nearest chest box facing the queen. The Queen was a bit surprised by how her son was relaxed around her but happy that he at least knew that he is safe with her.

"Language, Henry. You shouldn't call your mothers stupid even though they certainly are." The Queen said with a grin.

"Sorry." Henry said truthfully but grinned right after. "And I'm really worried about Ma being sick. She is throwing up almost every day for a week even though she tries to hide it." Henry frowned.

"It's what pregnancy does. And I'm guessing that she doesn't want to worry you." The Queen said assuring.

"I know but I don't get why ma haven't told mom about the baby yet. She will help her if she knew."

"Both of your mothers are too stubborn to
admit the obvious." The Queen said.

"Is the baby really mom's? Not that I'm doubting, but are you sure it's not Hook's?" Henry asked hesitantly. He didn't dislike Hook, he was fun to hangout with. But he sometimes didn't like how the pirate treated his ma.

"No, not Killian's for sure. She is only about 2 1/2 months, she's not showing yet. The baby is certainly Regina's, or I should say ours." The Queen said avoiding Henry's eyes.

"My baby sister is product of true love than."  Henry said dreamingly.

"You're not mad? And how do you know it's a girl?" The Queen asked surprised.

"Why would I be? It's the one of the best thing happened in my life! The baby will bond all of us, and we can finally be the family." Henry smiled excitedly and jumped up to hug his mother's doppelgänger. "And for the gender, I study science. X chromosome and y chromosome, those kind of stuff." Henry continued one he pulled away from the dumbstruck Queen.

"Who else knows?" Henry asked as he stepped away from the queen.

The Queen immediately missed the affection but answered. "Tink does. Emma asked Tinkerbell few weeks ago, if it was possible for two women to have a baby through magic. I think no one else knows. Emma haven't even told Regina."

"Yeah I know. But she should. It will make Mom happy. Right?"

"I hope so. I really do."

SQSQSQSQ

Emma took another deep breath facing the door to the mayor's office. For almost two months she was trying to talk with Regina about what happened while a small part of her just wanted to run away like she used to and avoid the possible rejection from her 'true love'. But she couldn't put off anymore, the time was running out. Her baby bump was starting to show and there was no much time until she couldn't hide it from others.

It was okay that Regina doesn't want her as her true love, because the tiny pieces of hope she had when they shared a bed three months ago, when she found out she was pregnant, and when she woke her up from the sleeping curse were almost gone by now. But Emma still thought Regina had a right to know about her own baby. Regina may not love her but she sure will love the baby, right?

"Ms. Swan." Emma heard the voice she loved when she finally gathered her courage and knocked the door and opened it.

"Hi, we need to talk." Emma said nervously.

"I already told you that what happened that night was a one time thing. And I thanked you for saving me from the curse. What else to talk about?" Regina said not looking at the blondes eyes.

"We shared a true loves kiss, Regina! I think we have to talk about the for a starter."

"Sharing a true loves kiss doesn't mean you are my true love. You woke Henry up, but he isn't your true love. I appreciate your love for me, but I think you are confused with a friendly love with romantic love. Besides I already have a true love. Robin is my soulmate."

"Bull shit! Everyone knows a soulmate isn't equals to a true love. Besides I'm not forcing you to be with me or asking you to leave Robin. I just at least want us to be back to how we used to be; friends, co-parents, allies. Anything where you don't hate me for loving you."

"You say that you won't force me to anything but you sure sound like you are forcing your self on me, Ms. Swan. I don't hate you, but I currently don't want to see you face or hear your voice. Just leave me alone."

"Fine. But before I go, I need you to know one more thing."

"I don't want to hear it. I already told you that I no longer want to hear or see you." Regina snapped.

"But you have to listen..."

"NO! I don't!" Regina literally pushed Emma with her magic, which sent the blonde to fly few feet and crush into nearby wall, hitting back of her head in process. She was surprised for sure but her newly motherly instinct won over human instinct to protect their head and she wrapped her arms protectively around her abdomen. She felt like she was loosing her consciousness and her used her last of it to poof her self back to where she felt safe the most.

I re-read the previous chapter and found out the mistake!
