Chapter 23

I still can't believe Robin asked me to be his girlfriend, i'm so happy! Last Night was perfect, after Ravens party me and Robin went up to the roof for a while and just stared at the stars, it was peaceful, and we just talked about everything, he helped me understand him, his past, his life. He told me about Batman, and how he grew up, he told me about his adventures with Young Justice, he told me about how he mourns for his parents on the aniversery of their death, i guess thats a lot about Robin that nobody sees, Dick is a complicated person, he want's to be a hero, but he told me himself that he doesn't want to be a copy of Batman, he doesn't have that will to sacrafire everything for one mission, and i think that 'Robin' is forced to be stronger, but Dick Grayson, i think he is still trying to convince himself that he is strong, We just talked it was nice, i loved talking to him, really talking to him, i love having these deep conversations with him because it lets me see the real him, and not just 'robin' the leader. anywasy after a while of looking at the stars, he walked me back to my room, and we kissed goodnight, and i feel into a dreamless sleep. Well now its morning its a beautiful new day!

When i woke up and walked into the living room i was litterally tackled by BeastBoy, like no joke....
"ummm....BeastBoy will you get off of me?" i asked highly confused
"yes if you promise to help me with something" he said
"fine, now get off!" i said as he jumped off my back, "Now what do you need?"
"well....umm...i was wondering...if you could well help me...with....Raven..." he said wispering the last word
"what do you mean help with Raven?" i asked still confused
"well.....i kinda sorta like her....alot..." he said playing with his fingers, "and i kinda...wanna...become, better friends with her...and stuff..."
"awww! BeastBoy thats so sweet, sure, what do you need to know?" i asked, his face light up
"like how can i hang out with her without making it seem out of the ordinary" he said talking fast once again
"ok well, she likes reading maybe one day ask her about a book, or just causally sit next to her and start talking" i said trying to be helpful
"ok thanks!" he said running off

Thats so sweet, i think BeastBoy and Raven would make a cute couple! like a really really cute couple, their both too shy to admit it but i think they both like each other, i sighed and walked over to the kitchen and poured myself a glass of water, it was pretty early in the morning, its surpising that BeastBoy was up, very unBBish, how could be up by now? Robin, yeah hes always the first up, Raven, no way, and if she is shes just waking up, and Raven is not a mornig person, Star? nah, its still a bit awkward between us, Cyborg yeah hes proboratly in the garage, so out of my options i headed up to the roof where i knew Robin would be, he alwasy loves watching the sunrise.

"hey Robin!" i sadi happily as i arrived on the roof
"oh hey Jess, goodmorning" he said sweetly as i sat next to him, "Jess...what i told you last night, that stays between us right?" he asked
"yeah ofcouse why wouldn't it?"
"i don't know i'm a bit paranoided right now" he said
"your always paranoid, but don't worry i keep secrets" i said
"i know it was stupid for even considering it..."
"Considering what?"
"well last time we let someone new on our team, she turned out to be working with Slade, and BeastBoy fell pretty hard for her"
"I'm nothing like Terra" i said quietly
"how do you know her name?" he asked quickly
"BeastBoy"
"oh..listen in know your not, i just, well...last time it was BeastBoy who fell for someone, and it left him heartbroken, and I...well....ehhh...."
"I won't hurt you, intentily, I promise" i said wrapping my arms around him and hugging him tight
"I know...i don't like this feeling...."
"what do you mean?" i said moving away a bit hurt
"this feeling of being vunerable" he said
"well sorry, i didn't know having feelings for me made you weak" i said started to stand up
"thats not what i ment Its just that, i never felt strongly about anyone, and anyone i feel strongly about ends up hurt..." he said putting his hand on my shoulder
"thats not an excuse to say you don't like having feelings for me" i said
"I-I know" he said hanging his head, "its all really new to me" he said as he pulled me closer to him
"so you can deal with feeling vunerable for once?" i asked rasing an eyebrow
"only for you" he said as he leaned in as i met him halfway, the kiss was needy, it was like Robin was trying to show me all his emotions through one kiss, it was full of longing, sadly he pulled back and wispered, "now thats a goodmorning kiss" he said which made me laugh

I pulled his head back to me and kissed him, wrapped my arms around his neck, as he pulled me closer by my waist, yeah i could get used to this
