Me and Robin have been together for about a month now and its been good, our realshinship goes like this, i wake up, go to the roof we watch the sunrise together, then we go downstairs to eat breakfast, if theres a mission i ride with him, but i also stay out of his way when a fight is going on, later in the day we usally go our sepreate ways, he goes to the gym, me and Raven meditate, then at dinner, we eat and then we sometimes watch a movie or spend more time on the roof, once it gets late we he walks me to my room, we kiss, and then i have a peaceful dream, and repeat. I really couldn't ask for anything more, but today was a little different...
"Finally, it is mine" i heard Karatou say as he held up a very expensive looking staff, we were on another mission but this one was different, Robin and I were facing the theif Karatou, the others were fighting the rest of his 'gang'
"Not if I have anything to say about it!" Robin said definently next to me
"You think you can stop me?" Karatou sneered at Robin
"I know i can" Robin said smirking
"Yeah against Robin you don't stand a chance, Against me and Robin your dead meat" i said getting in a fighting stance
"its only fair to warn you, I've trained with the best"
"its only fair to warn you, So have I" Robin said, "I got this, this is my fight" he said under his breath to me, reluctently i nodded and moved aside
"Your confident too confident, Since we are both honorable fighters, I shall offer you a deal, If i can defeat you in three moves I surrender"
"You can have fifty moves, I'll still defeat you"
I watched on the sidelines as the fight started, the fight was mostly just Karatou chargins ar Robin and Robin ducking away just in time, i don't think eiather of those counted as a move
"Your good, but your still going down!"
"Your forgot i still have on more move" oh well i guess those did count as moves, "Thats three!" Karatou yelled in victory, i watched in shock as Robin went down
"Robin" i yelled as i ran over to him helping him up
"Where did you learn to fight like that?"Robin asked in shock himself
"If you want to be the best, you will have to seek the True Master" Karatou said smugly and ran off with the fancy staff leaving Robin punching the ground defeated
"Robin...are you ok?" i asked conncered putting my arm around him, just to have him swat it away
"i lost. I Don't Lose" he growled out, ok maybe its just me but when Robin growls like that its really really attrative, maybe its just my teen hormornes but damn...
"everyone has to lose sometime in their life, it just makes them stronger" i said hopefully
"Lets just go home" he said as he got up and grabbed my hand as dragged me to the R Cycle
The ride home was silent, i could feel his mussles tense up. I've never seen Robin this stessed, i know he doesn't like to lose but i didn't know he would get this upset. When we got back home, after dinner Robin just disapeared into this room, breaking out cycle for the first time...it was late and the entire team was worried about him and refused to go to bed, so we stayed up watching movies, I decided that enough is enough he can pout all he wants but he needs to get out of his room!
"Where are you going the next scene is considered the good part" Star said confused
"Sorry guys i'm going to go check on Robin" i said as i walked off
I walked through the tower towards Robins room, now Robin's Room is almost as secrative as Ravens Room, nobody goes in Robins room i've never been in there. I took a deep breath and reluctently knocked softly on the door, i waited for a while and eventually the door opened to see a irratted Robin.
"leave me al-oh its you..." Robin said
"nice way to great you girlfrined there Robbypoo!" i said sarcastily, nothing not even a small smile, "Robin will you please talk to me?" i asked
"...fine come in" he said moving aside, oh my god i'm in Robins Room! Nobody has been in Robins Room, it was really clean and plain, there was just a plain closet, and bed, and a few poseters and pictues. Then i noticed a backpack that was half fulled with his weapons and an extra set of clothes
"....Robin...are you leaving?" i asked confused
"yes i have too, i need to go a train with this True Master, i thought i've trained with the best, i mean the Famous Batman? but apparently thats not good enough." Robin said coldly
"but being the best isn't everthing" i said
"yeah sure" Robin said sacrasticly, "but i'm not going alone"
"what do you mean?"
"its means im taking you with me" Robin said accually smiling since the fight yesterday
"But I don't have anything to pack, i don't even have a full uniform!" i said
"then we'll get you a uniform out there, just come with me ok, i can't do this alone" Robin said taking my hand
"Fine" i said as he turned around to finish packing
"Robin are you leaving us?" Star asked from the door, not bothering to knock
"I have too" Robin said coldly
"Dude you got your butt kicked it happens" BeastBoy said dramticly in the doorway
"happens to some of us more than others" Raven said next to BeastBoy who got annoyed, and gave Raven what i call the look , which means your going to be pranked next...very dangerous, "anyways it doesn't mean you have to quit" Raven said
"yes we will soon located this Karatou, and then it will be you who is kicking the butt" Star said walking over to Robin putting her hand on his shoulder
"Im not quitting the team, but my fight with Karatou showed me how much i need to learn about Martial arts." Robin said coldly
"no problem, i can help you train, I got a new computer-simulated fight sequence in the gym"
"I've already trained with the best, and apparently it wasn't enough, Theres only one person who can help me."
"you wish to learn from the true master of whom the villian spoke?"
"Im not coming back until i find him" Robin said
"WHAT?Aw, come on, man! How do you know this True Master is even a good guy? How are you gonna find him? Do you even know where you’re going?" Cyborg yelled
"I'm not sure"
"sounds like a plan" Raven says
"According to legend, the True Master lives in the mountains on the other side of the world, and can be found only by the most serious of students"
"I'm in! When do we leave? What should I pack? Do i need shorts? This is going to be soo cool!" BeastBoy said getting caught up
"I have to go alone." Robin said pushing past everyone else
Everyone was shocked as i watched Robin walk towards the garage and get on his R-Cycle, i followed him to the garage just to say goodbye and watch him leave, i guess i wasn't going with him anyways...
"stop standing there and get on" I heard Robin say
"i thought you were going alone?"
"don't want the team fighting over who comes along right?" he said smirking handing me a helmet as i got on, "hold on" Robin said as he started the R Cycle and made it fly up so i held on to his waist tighter, i tell he was smirking
"nice one." i said sarcasitly
