Chapter 15

Last night, my thoughts where filled up with Robin, its stange huh? how i barley know him but i feel a huge connection to him, i feel like i can trust him...anyways my dreams last night were....interesting....? they started out good, it was a beautiful day in Jump City the team and I were outside having fun in the park, not a villian in site, Me and Robin were sitting under a tree talking just talking nothing too serious, until he started to lean in our lips met, but then my dream turned horriable, my friends were melting right before my eyes, fire surrounded me and i was dehydrating fast. I started crumbling, my arms and legs were blowing away like dust, then i heard this insane laugh, a laugh that could only belong to my mother, "I told you i would always find you my dear, sorry but your expired" she said and then my dream, or more like Nightmare ended.

I woke up in a cold sweat, how can such a nice dream turn so bad? When i finally gathered myself i showered, and walked into the living room, quicky i got a glass of water and sat down next to Robin, which earned me a nice bitchy glare from Starfire. BeastBoy and Cyborg were playing video games, as always, and Raven was reading, again no surpise.

"Hey had a nice sleep?" Robin's voice cut through the noise around
"umm...yeah for the most part." i said still a bit shaken from that horriable dream
"nightmare?" he asked, how does he do that? read my mind!
"yeah...no big deal" i said but the look on my face gave it away
"D-Do you wanna go up to the roof we can talk about it there, since its quiet, and more private, and well its noisy down here, but if you don't want to thats fine, i mean who knows you could be afraid of heights, any-"
"Sure i would love to go up to the roof" i said smiling, again why do i find his nervouses so damn cute

When we were making our way out of the living room Starfires voice cut through the noise "Robin where are you going?"
"umm...the roof?" Robin said tugging at the neckline of his uniform
"May i accompany you?"
"I kinda wanna talk to Jess privetly...i'll be back down soon, training at noon everyone" He said and toke my hand and guided me up to the roof top

"so nightmare?" he asked once we were sitting on the edge of the building
"yeah...it stared off nice though"
"will you tell me about it?" he asked kindly his, smile making me want to trust him, that or kiss him i can't decide yet
i sighed "ok fine, we were all out in the park, having fun, just a normal day, no villian, nothing, but then everything turned to flame, and my mothers voice was talking to me saying i was a mistake and its time for me to be elimated, and then i kinda evaproated away..." I finished realizing that i was shivering slightly from remembering that dream, i know its just a dream, but sometimes they can be so lifelike
"its ok, that won't happen ever, we would never let that happen" he said putting his arm around me which i definitly didn't mind
"Robin?" i asked
"yeah?"
"how do you do it?" i asked curious
he laughed "do what?"
"make me trust you, i don't hesitate to tell you anything, i'm always so sheltered with my emotions, how do you make me tell you everything?"
"i have that kind of affect on people" he said smirking
"well...now its your turn talk birdboy, tell me your darkest secret" i said edging him on
"i don't really have any"
"oh please? why do you always have a mask on? who are your parents, any of these question would count" i said
"ok i wear a mask so nobody know who i really am"
"oh thanks Mr. Ovious, i mean like your life story i told you mine" i said
"how do you do it?" he asked clearly imitating me
"do what?" i said playing along
"i don't tell anyone anything, a very slim few accually know my real identity, how do you make me want to show you who i am?" there was a long pause "how do you make me wish i wasn't Robin and i could just be a normal teenage boy?"
"i have that kind of affect on people" i said smiling
"well, your persistant, fine well, my real name is..."
