I shook my head as I tried to forget about the past and think about present. I couldn't seem to get naming out of my head. I hated naming chappy; we had to go though so many names before we even thought of chappy. My mother wanted Rosie, but going down to the dog park if you call Rosie hundreds of dogs came running to you. My father and brother could only think of names like spike and Rex but I think they forgot she was female. My sister wanted the name to be Lily, Lola, Lavender, Lacey, Linda, Lisa, Lara, Laura, Lexie, Livana, Loretta, Lucy or any other name starting with L. We sat at the dinning room table for hours yelling and screaming out names at each other when I blurted out chappy when I was speaking. Of chores happy was meant to come out but it didn't and that's how chappy started. So far in my family we have been on one family outing with chappy which will turn into two tommorow. My little sister Luna has entered chappy in a dog competition. She has to do her makeup, dress her up and teach her to sit without getting a chap-snap afterwards. I gave chappy a big kiss and walked away, chappy needed all the practice she can get for tomorrow.
