Y/N's POV

It was Mr Kim. He spotted me immediately and gave me a cocky smile. He approached the professor, who was at the front of the room in light, unhurried strides. The fragrance of his bitter pungent cologne invaded the scentless room. The students only watched his steps, drooling in desire, so much that the girl next to me squeaked. How funny.

"So, why did you want one of my students?" He asked the older lady as he peeked towards the door.

"He's a knowledgable guy and it will give me a huge benefit for what I'm teaching next!" She beamed, and lost the smile when she turned back to check if the guest had arrived yet.

Wait, so Mr Kim wasn't the guy? Who was it then? Maybe someone I don't really know well....eh, why should I even care?

After the two teachers finished their discussion, Mr Kim did a strange hand gesture. Then, after a few moments, louder and thrilled gasps escaped from the other students. Girls and boys alike were stamping their feet in animation as they noted who entered the room. Another scent conquered our noses; it was sweet, fruity and piquant unlike Mr Kim's. With a delicate closing of the door, I heard his footsteps going down the stairs unhurriedly. I didn't know who arrived since I was scribbling drawings on my notebook. While he was going down the stairs, I only perceived his expensive-looking leather shoes. A higher, I see. Then, after a few moments, a familiar soft voice emerged from the front.

"Hello, you all probably know me." I briskly looked up, seeing Park Jimin in my view, "Take notes if you want."

Ugh, this guy? I rolled my eyes at his careless tone whilst gathering a few blank pages in my notebook. Jimin stood there with a smug grin; I found it weird how he occasionally kept gazing at me. At least twice, he winked at me cheekily... creep. It also irritated me how he used a patronizing voice; gosh, we weren't children. However, I must admit that he was a decent teacher; I had about 4 pages worth of notes. That didn't change my whole opinion on him though - he was still as arrogant and ignorant.

The lecture lasted longer than I expected; it ended 30 minutes after our supposed finish time. Maybe because everyone wanted more time with Park Jimin, pff. Once Mr Kim announced the class was over, I hastily packed my books inside my bag.

"Um, hello?" I turned my head promptly, spotting Jimin trudging towards me.

Oh no. I didn't want to put up with him.

"Sorry, have to go." I stood up whilst clutching my bag tight.

"Don't go."

Jimin's eyes suddenly turned soft and innocent as he carefully signalled me to sit down again. Without thinking, I sat down on the wooden chair whilst he perched himself on the seat besides me.

"First, why do you want to talk to me? Second, I don't know you nor like you." I snapped at him; his light smile dropped into an apparent frown.

"I'm not that bad..." He looked down at his fidgeting hands, "I just wanted to talk to you since I saw you rushing into school today."

This guy was...disturbing. Does he even know that I'm a 3.7? If anyone witnessed us conversing, his reputation would be ruined. Well, to be honest, I wouldn't mind that.

"You know I'm a 3.7, right?" I squinted my eyes, anticipating for him to leave.

"I don't care about that." He sighed whilst obtaining his phone from his pocket, "Number?"

"Um...eh...um...I don't know..." I stuttered, looking like a complete idiot.

I appreciated him for not caring about my score but what was he thinking? His family also depended on him; they would lose all their credibility if anyone found out. Not only that, I could lose some points too!

"I guess that's a 'yes'." He chuckled cutely, waiting for me to give out my number.

"Fine, it's..." I hesitated at first, "130613BTS."

"Thanks. I'll call you." He finished typing it down before leaving with a coquettish wink.

What just happened? Once he left the room, I placed my head on the desk, reflecting on my stupid actions. Dammit Y/N. You were supposed to increase your score, not decrease someone else's. In my head, I imagined all the dreadful possibilites that could happen. First, his parents would find out and spam negative reviews to me. Next, my parents and my brother would be extremely disappointed. Then, if my score gets to 0, it's Life Isolation for me. Uh...I was certainly over-reacting. I should stop. Everything was going to be alright, Y/N.

Right after, I heard muted snickers at the back of the room. Spinning my head towards that direction, I detected two female students with their phones out. Then, I realised that they were probably filming Jimin and I...shoot.

"Please, don't send it to anyone. Please, don't review me badly..." I instantly stood up and pleaded.

"You thought so." The girl in the fancy olive velvet coat tittered, "Don't worry, I'll just send it to some people..."

"Um...thanks." Replying weakly, I felt my phone vibrate as I saw that I was now a 3.6, "Thanks again..."

"You're welcome." I heard the other girl whisper spitefully after I left the lecture room.

The possibilties were already starting. Now, I'll wait for the trouble to unravel.

Jimin's POV

Honestly, I received plenty of numbers before but this was the most jumpy and giddy I've ever been. Looking back, I remembered the nervous cautious face of hers, causing myself to chuckle lightly. I knew she was concerned but... she had nothing to worry about. I've hidden tons of secrets, even from my parents. I've been in many situations with lowers before, but their scores never decreased...or at least I don't think so.

When I arrived to the main quad, Yoongi's slim silhouette caught my eye.

"I got her number!" I bounced up and down avidly, ramming into him.

"Ow!" Yoongi held his arm, "Jimin, did you know you're a 9.8 now?"

"YOONGI! Did you not hear me? I got her number!" I shook his arm fervently.

"Wait..." Yoongi snatched his arm out of my grip, "The 3.8 girl!? Jimin, you're playing a dangerous game."

"She has a name...and no, it's not a game." I huffed irritated once he started checking his phone again.

"Oh, her name is Y/N." He announced, chortling at her updated score, "She's a 3.6 now!"

"I told you, the whole point system is stupid to me." I reminded him for the second time.

"Not when it can change your life." Yoongi rebuted.

And I just left him there.
