She smiles sadistically as Jack looks at me, concerned.
"I just don't know if I can keep going on anymore, Janice." She whispers, throwing her bag against the wall.
"Fauna, yes you can..." Janice grabs her shoulders. "You make everyone smile with your beautiful smile and jokes... just... everyone would miss you, especially me."
Fauna slouches down on the wall, bringing her knees to her chest.
"No you won't." She mutters. "You're just saying that because you want show that you're an amazing person. More than you are already."
Janice sits next to her, her hand on Fauna's shoulder.
"You are amazing. You make people smile and laugh everyday." Janice whispers.
"Why do you lie to me?"
Janice forces Fauna's large yet fragile frame to look at her. Fauna's eyes are red and bloodshot, illuminated in the dim light.
"Stop thinking these these Fauna." Janice raises her voice slightly.
"Why do you care? Why do you wait for me outside each time Mr Egg emailed you?"
Janice sits in silence, her face going pale.
"Tell me Janice." Fauna says louder.
"Tell me!" Fauna raises her voice above taking level. Janice stays silent.
"TELL ME!!" Fauna screams. Janice stares helplessly back at her. After realising what she just did, Fauna faces away and pulls her hood back up.
"I'm sorry." Fauna whispers.
"For everything. You're an amazing person. Ever since preschool. A person who cares and talks to me. A person who helps. A person who I lo-." Fauna murmurs before slapping her hand over her mouth.
Janice and Fauna stare into each other's eyes for a few seconds, both shocked and scared, before Fauna breaks their gaze and sits up.
"I'm sorry Janice. You don't even like girls." Fauna says, grabbing her bag.
Janice grabs her arm forcefully and pulls her back. Bringing a hand to Fauna's cheek, she smiles at Fauna's confused face.
"Don't think like that."
Fauna opened her mouth to respond, only to be cut off short by Janice pressing her lips against hers. Her eyes turn to saucers with her face turning to a deep cherry colour. Janice pulls away, smirking at Fauna's red and confused face.
Jack scares the fuck out of all of us as he screams at them.
"I KNEW IIIIT~" He teases, hugging them both. Fauna goes even redder and smiles awkwardly. "IM THE MAN OF HONOUR AT THE WEDDING!!" He screeches. I get up.
"Never knew you were into girls, Janice." I say, grinning at her blushing face. I grab Jack's hand and hug Janice. Fauna stays by Janice's side as Janice pulls her closer.
"Mmmm." Fauna grumbles into Janice's shoulder, blushing. I smile at her as her face defines embarassment. We sit down, me and Jack laid on the couch. My torso rests on his chest as my left leg rests on the arm of he couch and my other leg hangs off the side. Jack holds me in place with his strong arms around my waist and his head on my shoulder. Fauna sits on Janice's knee, leaning back on her shoulder gently. Janice side hugs her as we talk casually.
"So," Janice starts, "We've got everything marked on a map thanks to Fauna's spies and the winter dance is not too far away. Fauna and I will go on the scaffolding over the stage and hang the paint cans up. Jack and Mark will make sure Regina and Toby win prom king and queen so they will be on the stage. Fauna marked out three crosses on the stage, one for Regina, one for Toby and one for the headmaster in stage tech and Damien will be on standby for the lights. Fauna will be distracting Killian so that he doesn't see us. Everything will go dark and when the lights come back on-."
