Forgive my Anxiety

Forgive me, if I say I'm sorry
At least a hundred times a day
Forgive me, once more
If I make you angry in any way

Forgive me, if I question things
That shouldn't be questioned at all
Forgive me, again please
If I begin to choke and bawl

Forgive me, if I stare
A bit too long
Forgive me, yet again
If I blabber things that are wrong

Forgive me, if my mind
Begins to swirl
Forgive me, my dear
If I make your emotions twirl

I know what it is
This thing that haunts
My every word
And taunts
My busy brain

You'll have to excuse
My anxiety
It's latched on
And it's never leaving me
