Forgive me, if I say I'm sorry
At least a hundred times a day
Forgive me, once more
If I make you angry in any wayForgive me, if I question things
That shouldn't be questioned at all
Forgive me, again please
If I begin to choke and bawlForgive me, if I stare
A bit too long
Forgive me, yet again
If I blabber things that are wrongForgive me, if my mind
Begins to swirl
Forgive me, my dear
If I make your emotions twirlI know what it is
This thing that haunts
My every word
And taunts
My busy brainYou'll have to excuse
My anxiety
It's latched on
And it's never leaving me
