"Ha, its Y/n! Look at her, pathetic thing." "I know, you'd think she'd just crawled straight from the sewers!" Y/n L/n was bullied. And not just light teasing, no I'm talking about really horrible stuff. It's the boys from her school that do it, for one reason. One of the most popular guys in school wanted to date her, but she disliked him greatly, so instead of accepting her choice, he made her life a living hell until she accepted.

"Don't listen to them Y/n. They're just big fat brain dead idiots." that's her best friend, Endou Mamoru. He always stuck around her, and he'd been her best friend since they were little. Y/n was friends with the football team as well, which meant she wasn't completely alone. "I know, I just can't help it." she sighed. "Oh cheer up! I know, after school let's get ice cream and go to the park, sound good?" Y/n smiled. "Thanks Endou. That sounds great."

"So, what flavour are you getting?" "Vanilla. You're gonna get chocolate, aren't you?" "You know it!" Endou and Y/n queued up and then got their ice-cream, and began walking through the park.

Then, Endous phone started ringing. "Hello? Oh, hey mum. Oh, sure. Okay, I'll see you soon. Bye!" Endou turned to Y/n sadly. "Great, I have to go home, cos my cousins came over. Sorry Y/n, ill see you soon!" Endou left, and Y/n smiled wistfully. "He really us something else, huh."

"Thank goodness he's gone, now I can have you all to myself." Y/n jumped at the voice behind her, which she recognised as James', aka the boy who made her life hell. "James. What do you want?" James laughed. "Oh Y/n, you know exactly what I want. I'm sure you can't be happy with most of the school gating you." Y/n sighed. "Look, I've told you before, I don't want to date you! Please stop making everyone hate me, I've had enough." James walked over to her and placed his hand on her chin, forcing her to look at him. "One of these days you'll be mine, and you know what? I think it's today." and he roughly pulled her into a kiss, much to her disgust. She shoved him away from her and yelled. "What the hell are you doing?! G-get away, you f-freak!" James simply smirked and advanced towards her slowly.

"Now, that's no way to treat a lady, is it?" A boy stepped in front of Y/n and calmly smiled at James. "A-afuro! What are you doing here?!" "Stopping you harming this girl. You really need to improve your entire demeanor, James." James was enraged by this and charged towards Afuro, but as he reached him, in one swift movement Afuro sent him flying to the ground. He didn't get back up.

"Are you alright?" Afuro turned to Y/n and worriedly placed his hands on her shoulders. "I-I'm f-fine... Thanks..." Y/n smiled gratefully up at him. "Good to hear. I don't think James will bother you anymore, so you should be fine." Y/n somehow felt reassured by the angelic looking blonde boy in front of her, but she wasn't quite sure why. "Well, I think you're alright now. Hopefully I'll see you again. Bye Y/n." Afuro turned to go, but Y/n grabbed his wrist. "Wait! It was Afuro right? Sorry, I just wanted to give you a proper thanks." Y/n leant up and kissed him on the cheek. "Thank you, Afuro." Afuro blushed, and then Y/n realised why she felt so reassured by him. 'He's like an angel in disguise.'
