Fubuki Shirou X Shy! Reader X Fubuki Atsuya | Happy Anniversary! Pt 1

[Okay, this is the thing I asked you guys to vote on! Even though everyone said they preferred Shirou, I'm still going to do a thing on Atsuya, since I know he has fans and it honestly wouldn't feel right doing a thing for one and not the other. It will be 3 chapters long, this chapter is the build up and then the next two will be each ending, one for each twin. Please enjoy the chapter!]

"Hey Y/n! You're late." I nervously laughed at my captain, Shirou. "I'm sorry. I know it annoys you guys a lot..." I looked down. I'm never late for practice, but this time I was since I always stay several hours late at school for clubs and studying, and then go to the park everyday for football practice, and finally I stay up till past midnight making sure I've revised enough to keep my grades up so I'm making everyone happy. I always set my alarm but today it went off late and I had to rush to school. I was only 10 minutes late to practice, but I'm sure I really annoyed captain. "Y/n, you know it doesn't matter. Atsuya is never on time and no-one gets mad at him." I smiled. "That's true, but I'll still do extra practice afterwards to make up for it." Shirou shook his head but smiled. "There's no getting past you, is there? For a shy girl, you really work hard."

Practice went well, Atsuya showed up about 10 minutes after I did. He may be always late but I still kinda like him... Yeah, I've got a slight crush on the captains brother. And the captain as well, but I'd never tell them of course. I'm far too shy and it would only ruin our years of friendship anyway. I'm fine with just being their friend for the meantime. "So, are you going to your club after school today?" I was interrupted from my thoughts by Atsuya. "No, it got cancelled because of all the snow." That gives me plenty of time to get extra practice. "Oh, well then does that mean you can come out with me and Aniki after school?" "Well, I don't know..." "Please Y/n? You always stay at home and study or practice, you're far too shy! You need to have some social 'interaction." I sighed. "Fine...but only this once." "Great! We'll pick you up at 5-ish, sound good?" Well, bye bye extra practice. I don't really want to go, but I can't say that to Atsuya, I may upset him! "See ya Y/n." He winked at me before standing up to leave for lunch with his brother.

"Y/n! Come sit with us!" I heard my name being called by Shirou, and I glanced over to see him and Atsuya sat together eating. I sighed and walked over to sit with them, wishing I could say 'no' for once. It's not that I don't like them, I just feel like I get roped into far too many discomforting things while I'm around them, things that I can't say no to. "What's up Y/n? You look sad." Shirou asked. "Oh nothing, I-I'm fine, really." I flashed them a reassuring smile. "If you say so. Say, are you excited for our next match?" Atsuya asked me. "It's a friendly one, so yes." "What is it with you, you're such a doormat." "Atsuya! Don't be so rude!" I laughed. These two are such opposites, Shirou is so sensible and level-headed, and Atsuya is reckless and insensitive. And then there's me, who's too quiet and shy. We balance each other out, I think that's why we're such good friends. Well, they do say 'Opposites attract.' [Subtle foreshadowing for next chapters wink wink nudge nudge]

T I M E S K I P

It's after school now, and I'm heading home. It's snowing a lot, which is why my club got cancelled. Oh well, I didn't bring a coat but I'm sure I'll be fine. "Y/n!" I heard someone yell my name, and I turned around. Through the snow I could make out Atsuya and Shirou's figure getting closer, until they were beside me. "What are you doing out here in just a shirt? You'll freeze! Here, take this." Shirou took off his coat and wrapped it around me, and Atusya took off his scarf and wrapped it round my neck. "But you guys'll freeze..." I muttered. "Well at least you'll be warm. We can't have our cute little Y/n freezing, can we?" I blushed slightly, but it wasn't that noticeable. "Come on, we'll walk you home." I walked with the twins until we got to my house. "Thanks for walking me home you two." I smiled at them. "It's fine, and you can keep the scarf and coat." Atsuya winked at me, and Shirou gave his adorable smile. To be honest, inside I was freaking out, but of course outside I was only blushing a bit. "Th-thanks. I'll see you l-later, guys." And I went inside.

And of course I put Shirou's coat over it and wrapped Atsuya's scarf around my neck [Yeah I know he's supposed to like never take that off but it's cool he has an infinite supply so it's cool]. I nuzzled my face into it 'So warm and fluffy' I thought.

KNOCK KNOCK KNOCK!

That'll be them! I shoved my junk in my bag, and rushed to answer the door. "Hey." "Hey Y/n, ready to go?" Shirou asked. I nodded and stepped out of the door, closing and locking it. [Don't worry reader, your imaginary house in Hokkaido won't get burgled.] "Wow, you look really adorable like that." Atsuya smirked. "I-I do? Th-thanks Atsuya...." They both laughed, and we began walking. "So where are we going?" "It's a surprise." They said in sync. I smiled. "Of course it is." We walked for a bit more, and then suddenly I'd been blindfolded. "Uh, is this necessary?" "Yes." "Okay. I'm guessing we're close?" "Yep. Just give us a minute... There! Surprise Y/n!" The blindfold was removed, and I nearly cried when I saw the scene in front of me. "You've known us for 7 years now, and we wanted to thank you! You've been with the team for 3 of those years, and we all love having you around Y/n!" The team and the twins were standing in front of a table covered in presents, and a large cake with Y/n written on it in [favourite colour] icing, on a [second favourite colour] base. "You guys..." "We hope you liked it Y/n! We all tried to make it extra special, since that's how you make all of us feel everyday." Shirou said, and the rest nodded in agreement. "Aw, thank you!" I was so happy I very nearly did cry, but I held it back and we had a group hug [My friends always try and include me in the group hug everytime we have one, and I just stand there awkwardly while they hug]. "Thanks for everything."

The party has been going on for a while now, and it's pretty late. I decided to get a breath of fresh air, and I watched the stars twinkling in the sky, shining down on the snow-covered ground. "Hey Y/n. What are you doing out here?" I turned around to see....

And I'm leaving it there! Don't worry, not a cliffhanger. I'm gonna do 2 or possibly 3 different chapters for the different endings, so everyone is happy! I know everyone said they liked shirou better, but I kinda prefer Atsuya so I'm writing an ending for him as well! I hope you guys liked it, stay tuned for the next parts! Love you all, bye!
