It's been a whole day since we dug up our haunted past. Candy swore she would not tell a soul and I trusted Aaron with my life.

A's threatening message of sending us all to jail was haunting me all night and I couldn't sleep a wink. We never intended to kill a man. It was an accident. And now it's here to haunt us, just like I thought it would.

"Hey babe, don't worry," Aaron said, putting my head on his chest as we lay in bed. "You were scared the police would send you to jail for drunk driving. So you did what you thought was the best idea at the time and buried his body."

"I still get nightmares about that horrible night babe," I said, "and I tell myself it's some horrible dream that I'll wake up from. I'm sorry for hiding this from you. I never meant for you to find out and think the worse of me and..."

"Shhh, it's alright baby. It was an accident. I know you Olivia. You're the most innocent soul I've ever met. You're pure-hearted and you would never hurt a fly. And that's why I fell in love with you."

I smiled weakly as he cuddled up to me.

I glanced at clock on the table besides me. It was 11 a.m. I promised Michelle and Wendy that I'll meet them at the hospital at 12 to find out if Wendy was actually carrying Michelle's baby. And if she was, well I had to be there for them. The both of them. It was going to be hard for both Wendy and Michelle to accept that possibility.

"I'm gonna head for a shower," I said, getting out of bed.

"I'll join you future wife," Aaron said, standing up.

"Actually, I'm in a hurry babe," I said.

"Oh okay," Aaron said, sounding disappointed. He was lying in bed wearing nothing but the black CK boxer briefs I had bought  him for his 25th birthday. God he was hot. What I'd give to get back in bed with him. But I promised my friends and I'm not one to break promises.

I took off my clothes and hopped in the shower, the steamy water hitting my naked body. I thought of Mia and I instantly felt guilty. I loved Aaron with all my heart, but I couldn't deny that I had feelings for Mia too.  Life's a bitch and I was its victim.

I got out of the shower, dried myself off with the towel, put on a white V-neck t-shirt and jeans shorts, kissed Aaron goodbye, got into my car, and drove to the hospital.

By the time I arrived at the hospital, Michelle and Wendy were sitting in the waiting room.

"Finally," Michelle said.

"Sorry traffic," I lied, running my hands through my hair. It was still wet.

"Wendy Miller," a voice monitor called out, "proceed to room 412 please."

"That's us, let's go," Wendy said.

"We followed her to the doctor's office and asked him to run a quick test and make sure whether Wendy carried Michelle's child or not. The way this hospital operates, it was pay us and we don't ask questions.

"Your results will be ready within a few hours," the doctor said. "We will call you once we have it."

"Thanks doc," Michelle said.

It was 5 p.m. by the time we left the hospital.

"Guys, Freddy wants us all to meet tonight and find out who this A person is and put an end to it once and for all," Wendy said, as we walked towards the parking lot. "I'm more scared that this A person will start revealing more secrets about our past than sending us to jail. I mean, you guys remember what I did before meeting Freddy."

Of course we did. She had a fling with Michael the summer of our graduation and when she met Freddy, she lied and told him she had never been with a guy before. That wouldn't be such a big deal if Freddy's family weren't conservative Christians. If they found out that Wendy was not a virgin, Freddy would have divorced her ass right away.
