It was a quiet evening at the Miller's mansion: Olivia, Aaron, Wendy, Freddy, Seth, Sara, Ryan, Mia, Andy, Timmy and Kevin were sitting in the living room by the fireplace. All 11 friends were making small talk while they waited for George, Medo and Michelle to arrive. Bethany was grieving with her family over Kylie's death and Michelle had broken up with Candy so naturally she was no longer part of the group.
"Only a psycho would do this to us," Sara said, taking a sip of her wine.
"I'm just horrified a murder happened in my own house," Wendy said, carrying a tray of fish biscuits in the room.
Just then, the power went off.
"Bloody hell," Seth said.
"I'll get the candles," Wendy said, as her husband went to check the electrical storage room.
While the rest of them talked in darkness, a person in a black hoodie was spying on them through the window with binoculars. It was Michelle. She had taken a taxi to Wendy's mansion so that her friends wouldn't know she was there. A asked her to do two things that night; the first thing was to dismantle the fuse box, and the second was going to be harder than the first. Michelle looked down at her phone and saw the text message A had sent her earlier.
Time to ruin your besties; expose Wendy and out Livi – A
Attached were two photos; one of Wendy and her affair with a man she met a year after her wedding to Freddy and the other was of Olivia with Kylie in bed.
Michelle knew if she did this, Olivia and Wendy would never speak to her again. She couldn't do this to her best friends, but it was the only way for her daughter to grow up with a mother. I don't have a choice, she thought. A's playing a dangerous game and this is the only way to find out who he or she is. It's for the greater good. Michelle walked towards the door, tapping it a few times because the power was off.
Freddy opened the door for her.
"Hi Michelle," he said. "The power's off and looks like some rats chewed right through the cable. We'll get it fixed tomorrow. Cool hoodie by the way. Come in."
Candles were lit all over the house as she made her way to the living room.
"Michelle's here guys," Freddy announced.
"Where were you all night?" Olivia asked her, an angry look on his face. "I called you like a hundred times."
"We were so worried about you Mich," Wendy added.
"I'm sorry guys but I had to take my phone to the repair shop," Michelle lied, hating herself already.
"Come have a seat babe," Andy said, holding a candle in front of his face and smiling at her.
"Wait babe?" Sara asked. "When did this happen?"
"Last night," Andy replied.
"Oh my God, you guys!" Wendy said, sounding like a child high on sugar.
"Wait so Candy's out of the picture?" Timmy asked.
Michelled nodded.
"Aww, what a shame. She was fun!" Ryan said.
"Well Michelle's a precious gem Andrew," Michael said. "Don't lose her again."
"Never," Andy said, walking up to Michelle and putting his arms around her.
"Hey Mich are you alright?" Olivia said suddenly, catching her by surprise.
"Huh, me? Yeah. I am. I'm okay. Why?" she said, dreading what she had to do next.
