Lailani POV~

I was hanging out with Belle in Granny's since I was  feeling very lonely and needed some girl company.

"So, any tea need to be spilt?" Belle asked and I laughed

"Not really. Not unless you haven't heard of what happen in Emmas wish Realm." I said with a sigh

"I haven't. Spill girl I heard it helps." She said with a smile

I started to explain how Henry and me were dating in Emma's wish Realm.

"Whew that's awkward" she said and I nodded

"Yeah, and now he's been avoiding me. I don't blame him it's pretty awkward but still. He is my best friend." I frowned and she grabbed my hand

"Hey don't worry about it. I'm sure you too will over come this" She said and I smiled

Me and Belle then went our separate ways and I skipped along the streets of StoryBrooke. It felt very normal today. To normal. I guess StoryBrooke could be normal some days.

It's hard to believe that this place has changed so much since the first time I came here.

I decided to walk around the forest as it felt calming.

I trotted through the forest and stumbled upon a mountain bluebird. They were always my favorite but I was surprised to find one here.

I picked it up and stroked its head and it chirped happily

"Aw, your so adorable!" I squealed and it chirped again

"I'll name you Ace" I smiled and it robbed itself against my finger happily.

My favorite bird literally was in front of me and let me keep it! The angel lord most shine luck on me today.

I put it in my coat pocket and it poked its head out. I kept walking through the forest dragging my hand against near trees and the sound of other birds chirping could keep me there for hours.

I then looked at Ace and noticed it was a male by its color. I smiled sweetly at it and decided I should take my leave of the forest. I walked to Peters house and knocked gently but loud enough for him to hear it.

He opened the door and kissed me on the cheek.

"Hello love." He smiled

"Hey Bubba" I replied as he invited me inside.

"Bubba! I found my favorite bird in the forest and it willingly let me keep it!" I squealed and took it out my pocket the bird flapping happily

He chuckled "you always were another Snow White with her birds" he said and I giggled

"He is a very pretty bird though." He said stroking its head lightly

"Handsome" I corrected him and he chuckled.

Me and him decided to sit down on the couch and play around with the bird

"Looks like the great Peter Pan has fallen in love with a bird" I giggled and he chuckled kissing my cheek

"But the bird would never replace the love of my life" he said and I blushed madly at his words.

| Time Skip |

I was back in Granny's playing around with Ace thinking about random things trying to keep myself occupied.

I then sensed the seat in front of me sink so someone sat there

"Hey Lai. Nice bird" I heard a boys voice say. I looked up and saw Henry and smiled a little

"Hey Henry and thanks." I said and he sighed

"Look, I'm sorry for avoiding you. I just felt really awkward about what Emma said what happen. But then Emma helped me realized that it's fake and that shouldn't change our friendship." He said and I smiled at him which he returned

"It's fine Henry. I knew you needed your time." I said calmly and he then focused on the bird

"Where did you get it?" He asked

"I was walking through the forest and I found him. He willingly joined me and let me keep him so heh. I couldn't let that deal pass he is my favorite bird." I said and he chuckled.

He lightly pet Ace. And Ace chirped happily at the attention.

"Thank you Henry." I said

"For what?" He asked

"For being the best friend I could ever ask for."

He smiled and we hung out until it was late and Emma was probably gonna be worrying about him. We said goodbye and I went to me and Galina house. I changed into pjs and made a cage appear for Ace. He didn't really like it so I made it he could leave whenever he wants but uses the cage as a bathroom and stuff. He happily slept next to me and I smiled falling asleep.
