Chapter 2

AT THE OFFICE

The team came back to the office trying to figure out who almost try and kill Athena "What do we got?" said Gibbs "Well all we got so far is that there was a bomb under Athena's car and it was set to go off exactly 20 minutes" said Bishop "That's a good thing she didn't get into the car" said McGee  "Yeah but she has a concussion so tell me you have something better than this" "I found something" said Kasie as she grabs the clicker out of Bishop's hand and shows the team what she had found "Alright so I was taking a look at the bomb and I found this number on the inside of it" "What does that number go to?" "It goes to a factory that was shut down a few months ago because of legal reasons" Gibbs nods his head "Alright Bishop and McGee go ahead and check it out" Bishop and McGee grabbed their bags and went to check it out.

Gibbs went to the hospital to check on Torres and Athena once he got there he saw Torres sitting in the waiting room area "How is she?" "In surgery apparently there is something in her that keeps bleeding so they want to see what that is" Gibbs sits down next to Torres "Go get some rest I'll stay and if she wakes up I'll call you" "I can't sorry Gibbs just can't" "Because you love her" Torres looks at him "I don't know what it is but I just want to make sure that she is safe you know" Gibbs shakes his head "That was like me with my first wife Shannon it felt like it was just me and her like nothing else mattered to me all I wanted was for her to be mine I didn't want her to get hurt or anything" on the speakers you can hear code blue when they both heard that they both ran towards Athena's room to see what's going on.

"Hey what's going on with her?" said Torres "Something went wrong during the surgery something in her brain started to make it shut down" the Doctor said all of the nurses and doctors started to work on her to see what's wrong. "Go back to the office and see what happened who made the bomb" Gibbs said all Torres does is just looks at Athena it took him a while to snap out of it when he did he went back to the office like Gibbs said and got back to work trying to figure who almost killed the woman he loves.
