Roman was having trouble sleeping that night and didn't know why. He decided to grab a quick snack. As he went to the kitchen he heard the most angelic singing. He stepped into the kitchen and what he saw shocked him.
There leaning against the counter was a drunk Virgil, crying while singing a song about pain and heartbreak. It broke Roman's heart to see him this way and he stepped forward to comfort him but Virgil heard him and swung around to face him.
Soon Virgil bursted into another set of tears.
Roman hugged him and cooed him softly until he calmed down.
"What's wrong Virge?"
"I'm i-in love with someone b-but they don't love me back"
Roman's heart sank at the thought of Virgil loving someone else but he dared not show it.
"Will you tell me who it is?"
"You"
Virgil spoke barely above a whisper but Roman barely made out the words.
Roman felt his heart soar and before he could stop himself he kissed Virgil passionately.
They broke away and before Roman could say a word Virgil spoke up.
"Will you stay with me tonight Roman?"
Roman almost stopped breathing from joy.
"Of course"
Roman carried Virgil bridal style to his room and laid him on the bed. Roman climbed in and Virgil immediately snuggled closer to him.
"I love you Princey."
"Me too Virge, me too."
Soon they both drifted off to sleep and that was the beginning of the best relationship they would ever have
