Walking Home Alone

Vanessa's P.O.V;

I was walking home alone from Jacob's house when I was pulled into an ally way by a random person, I looked up and saw... Erika? I haven't seen her in a long time, I wonder why. "Umm h-hey" I stammered, next thing you know she slapped me that shit really hurt! "Ow!" she grabbed me bye my hair and pinned me against the brick wall "Rayan may not want to bully you guys anymore BUT I do and that's how it's gonna be for a long time okay" I was so shocked and confused that I didn't say anything, next thing you know she punched me in the nose, Bitch hits like a damn man! WTF!?

"Oh uh y-yea of c-course" I stammered I felt like I was about to cry any moment so I tried to hold back the tears, "now don't tell anybody I did this to you okay" she ordered "that makes no sense clearly you've left me with a bruise on my cheek and a bloody nose, someones gonna notice and realize it was you!" I half yelled she punched in the eye "and now a black eye" I stated "just don't tell anybody and let them figure it out themselves okay" she said before walking away.

I stayed in the spot for a few minutes just to make sure she was gone, after awhile I slowly walked home letting the tears stream down my cheeks, which only made the one that she slapped hurt and sting more. I walked inside my house quietly making sure that my mom didn't hear me.

I walked in my bathroom and looked at myself in the mirror suddenly my phone rang I looked at the Caller ID; it was Ray. "Hello?" I said into the phone "hey Nessa I was wondering if you wer-" I sniffed "are you crying?" he asked "what... no" "you're crying" "no I'm not" I answered "why are you crying?" he asked "no reason" "so you are crying" damn it "you tricked me" I stated "yes I did... it was Erika wasn't it" "maybe" "it was Erika" he said to himself "yeah but it's not that bad" "well um never mind I'll just see you later bye" I half smiled "bye" we hung up the phone.

I was holding a bag of ice to my cheek with one hand and a tissue to my nose with the other when I got a knock on my door "come in" the door slowly opened and in walked Ray, Jacob, and Ayron they closed the door and looked at me, "not that bad... she gave you a bruised cheek, a black eye, and bloody nose" Ray stated "yup" I answered.

 "The fuck? You act like this has happened before" Ayron said "oh it has once Erika and her group started kicking her and stuff in the hallway" Jacob answered "you haven't done anything that bad have you?" Ayron asked to Ray "no" he stated "well except for the time you pushed me in the school pool when you didn't know if I could swim or not" Jacob said to him "I said I was sorry will it make you feel better if you pushed me in a pool" "actually it would" "dude!?" Ray exclaimed "what you're the one who asked and brought it up".

"Guys! Can we worry about the girl with the ice pack please?" Ayron asked "oh yeah sorry" they said together, I laughed alittle "hey do you guys wanna play truth" I asked "what the hell is truth?" Ray and Ayron asked while Jacob just said "yes" "you  guys don't know what truth is?" Jacob and I asked "we haven't a clue" "truth is basically like truth or dare except for it's just truths" Jacob explained "well is there a game called just "dare" Ray asked "I suppose but do you wanna play" I asked "sure".

We all sat in a circle on the floor I sat in between Jacob and Ayron, "okay so who wants to go first?" I asked "who's the oldest" Jacob said "January 6th" Ray said "April 21st" Jacob said "July 19th " I stated "September 9th " Ayron said last "well that's you Ray" Jacob stated "oh ok umm what's you favorite color?" Ray stated he continued "mine is purple" "purple too" Ayron said "green" Jacob stated "lime green" I said last.

"Well this one's for Ayron" I said she looked at me "why don't you like dresses and skirts? Because I don't like them either" "oh well it's just because you can't like do things in a skirt or dress that you could do in regular jeans" she answered "you got that right" Jacob and Ray said at the same time "y'all some nasty niggas" Ayron and I stated, they shrugged "we're teenage boys we have our moments" they said together I chuckled "well alrighty then".

"So Nessa when did you start to sing and dance?" Jacob asked me "when I was five" I answered all he did was smile "Ray what do you hate the most" I asked him "hmmm oh I absolutely hate it when people pull on my braids" he answered, "what are you guy's biggest fear" Jacob asked "mine is heights and death itself" I said "hmm bridges" Ayron answered "elevators" Ray stated.

We all looked at him and asked "why don't you like elevators" "because when I was little I was on an elevator when it broke and it fell all the way to the bottom of the building and when the doors opened you could see the top half of level and the bottom half of level, so now I don't like elevators" he explained "I'm gonna kick it up a notch" Ayron said "who here still has there virginity" she asked "I'm pretty sure we all still have our virginity" Ray said "not exactly" Jacob and I said together "you guys aren't virgins?" Ayron asked "no" we answered "who'd you lose your virginity to?" Ray said.

I pointed to Jacob and said "him" while he pointed to me and said "her", "wwoooww okay y'all did it at the age of fifteen" Ayron said "what we used protection" I answered "well alrighty then, hey it's getting late I gotta go home and make sure my brother and sister okay" Ray said while getting up, "I gotta go too" Ayron stated "yeah me too... I didn't know you had a brother and sister" Jacob said "yup" Ray said, they all got up and walked to the door "well okay I'll see you guys tomorrow at school" I said "okay bye" they said together, then they walked out the room.
