"I can't believe this fucking dickhead," Jaemin scoffed, tossing his phone on the coffee table in annoyance.
"What happened now, Nana?" Renjun sighed, not bothering to share a glance at Jaemin as he scrolled through his Instagram feed.
"Remember that guy that stood me up?" He asked from the couch he was sprawled on.
"Um, no..." Eric replied, taking a handful of noodles with his chopsticks and shoving them into his mouth. "Wait!" He shouted with his mouth full, "The one you told us about that time we went Lu's?"
"Yeah, him," Jaemin replied. Renjun raised his brows in question.
"Well, turns out he has a boyfriend."
Eric nearly chokes on the noodles in his mouth, beginning to cough loudly. "The fuck?!" His brows furrowed in disbelief after settling down.
"My thoughts exactly..." Jaemin trailed off awkwardly. His eyes shifted from Eric to the hem of his shirt. He played with it—a way to distract himself of his feelings.
"And whose great fucking idea was it to set you up with him?" Renjun raised a brow, finally placing his phone down.
"Ten-hyung. He goes to school with the guy, but I guess—"
"Why would he set you up with someone who has a fucking boyfriend?" Eric raised his voice, "And why would the guy agree to go on the blind date in the first place if he had a boyfriend?!" At this point he's shouting, clearly annoyed.
"Eric, it's okay. It's not even Ten-hyung's fault," Jaemin countered.
"Alright. What's the guy's name, then?" Eric questioned. He crossed his arms over his chest as he leaned back in the kitchen chair, suddenly uninterested in the noodles he was previously devouring.
"Hyung said his name is Jisung," Jaemin replied with a shrug of his shoulders.
"Jisung, what?" Eric scrutinized Jaemin's face from across the room, arms still crossed.
"park jisung."
"Well, I'm finna go to JYP's Performing Arts High School myself and show this Park Jisung what he's gotten himself into. Just because he's enrolled into some fucking private school doesn't make him–" Eric began, standing up from the kitchen chair as he cracked his knuckles.
"Eric!" Jaemin scolded. "Don't even worry about it, it's fine," He displayed a smile on his face, sitting up in the couch.
"No it's not, Nana," Eric countered. "I saw the look in your eyes when you told us back at Lu's. Don't think you can lie your way out of this because I've known you since we were little kids, and I know damn well this shit isn't okay with you."
At his words, Jaemin's previous smile faltered.
"I hate that you're right," He finally gave in, letting out a deep sigh as he looked down at his hands in despair.
