The bell rang. Delta took out his phone and punched in Kai's phone number.

Delta arrived, and a couple minutes early, for that matter. He rang the doorbell and felt a spike of anxiety.

"Hey." His younger sister answered the door. She had short, messy, brown hair. She also has green eyes framed with blue glasses. She was also incredibly pale. She was wearing a Spiderman hoodie and black tights. She was definitely a huge nerd.
"You Delta? Come in." At that moment, she walked behind the door and pulled it back so he could enter.

She gave him a tour of the house, or at least the downstairs. She led him up the stairs, and he decided to break the awkward silence between the two.

"I like your hoodie." He said. "I love Marvel." He pointed to his Captain Marvel shoes.
"Thanks! My ex was a huge Spiderman fan. When I said I wasn't to into it, she got super mad at me! I gave it a chance for her. Turns out I love him, too."
"I don't know too many Marvel nerds. It's nice to meet you... Umm?"
"Hannah. Nice to meet you too, Delta."

She led him to Kai's room and went back downstairs. He knocked on the door, and entered the room.

"Hey Kai." Delta said, to which only got a nod from Kai. "Your sister seems pretty cool."
"You like Marvel? That's the only reason anyone would think that loser is 'cool'." Kai said, with a smirk. Delta just nodded. "Put your stuff down, and sit." He gestured to the table in the center is the room.

When he sat down, he started staring, awkwardly, at Kai. He had medium-long dark brown hair. He was tan, and had beautiful, mysterious, dark brown eyes. He did NOT look like his sister.

He looked around the room, and saw a bunch of Star Wars posters. Mostly of Darth Vader. One had the bounty hunters on it.
"You like Star Wars?" Delta said.
"What ever have you that idea?" Kai said, words laced with sarcasm.
"I also see you like Darth Vader." Delta said, rolling his eyes.
"Yeah. I am very pro empire." He said, smiling a genuine smile.

Delta also took note of both an XBox One and a PlayStation Four.
"XBox or PlayStation?" Delta asked.
"I like them both." Kai said "I have both hooked up, don't I?"
Delta nodded.
"And you?"
"I play both, but probably PlayStation."

They went back to work. Kai could already feel himself warming up to Delta. He couldn't explain it, but Delta made him feel like he had butterflies in his stomach.
Emotions are dumb. He thought.
