"You will have two weeks to complete this assignment." Ms. Perez said.
Kai felt dread from the depths of his soul. He had to work with another person on a project for his history class. He wasn't good with people.
He stood up and walked to the board. There, it says who he'd be working with.
"Delta Machado" it said. He really didn't want to do this.
"Are you Kai Maximoff?" Kai turned around. He saw a boy before him, about the same height as him. He was Latino, and had brown eyes and brown hair. His hair was swept back. Kai would be lying if he said this guy wasn't attractive.
"Yeah. You must be Delta." He said, voice flat. "I guess we're partners."
Delta nodded.
"So when do you want to work on the project?" Delta asked.
"After school would work best. In the mornings, I have orchestra rehearsals."
"Okay. Do you want to stay in the library, or work at your house? I have two younger siblings. My place is chaotic."
"My house would work. I have a younger sister, but she normally stays quiet in her room doing work."
"Okay!" Delta exclaimed. "Can I have your address and number?" To which, received a nod.
Kai write both down and handed it to Delta. He then proceeded to gather his stuff, for the bell would ring momentarily.
When the bell did ring, he shuffled out of the classroom.

UGHHH!!! This was garbage. This is why you don't write at two in the morning. I hope you tolerated this. The next chapter should be better...
By the way, this is inspired by my brother and his friend. They flirt with each other as a joke, and thus, a ship was made. I changed the names, so if someone who knew either of the two, they wouldn't realize.
