Kai, Delta, and Eric were hanging out. They were at Eric's house watching movies.
"I wasn't expecting to cry. Goddamn." Delta said.
"It's not even that sad." Kai said.
"What? She died!" He exclaimed. "While her dick of a step dad is still alive."
"And?"
"And she was a good kid! Not perfect, but she deserved to live!"
"Don't bother with him." Eric said. "He didn't shed a tear over Schindler's List."
"Is there even a heart in there?" Asked Delta. Kai just shrugged.
"And the step dad just died." Kai said, blankly.
"Good riddance!" Delta exclaimed.

They were eating Thai food and playing Mortal Kombat IX.
"You're hacking! I don't know how, but you are!" Kai yelled.
"I'm not. I just got skill. Something you're severely lacking." Eric said, smugly.
Kai threw a packet of soy sauce at him.
"Headshot!" Delta said. "Now hand over the controller."
Kai reluctantly complied. He also moves so Delta could sit close to the T.V.
Delta won, and Kai played him.
"I'm going with my best character. Be wary." He said, picking Baraka.
"Good." Delta responded, picking Sub-Zero.
Kai won, and Eric moved in.
"So I'm not good enough for Baraka? I'm hurt." Eric said, picking Kung Lao.
"Yup." Kai said, picking Reptile.
"Didn't you accuse me of hacking, though?"
"Shut up!" He said, quickly.
"Wanna make a bet?" Eric asked. "Since you two are leaving after this game."
"That depends." Kai responded. "What are the terms?"
"If you win, I'll teach you to drive and give you my car." He said. "If I win, you go on a date with me. I get to pick what you eat, wear, and where we go. I guarantee it'll be the worst date ever."
After a few minutes of pondering, he answers.
"It's a pretty sweet car. 1965 Ford Mustang, right?" Eric nods. "I accept."
They shake on it and play the match.
Round one, Kai won. Round two, Eric won. Kai was winning round three, and then Eric started spamming the same move. This won him the game. He even got a fatality.
"That doesn't count! You just spammed the same move over and over again!" Kai said.
"Hey! A deal's a deal." Eric said. "And I did win without cheating. It was just really cheap."
"You're a snake." Kai mumbled.
He now had the worst date ahead of him.

I haven't quite anything in awhile. School has been really stressful lately. I haven't really had time for much, so sorry for the delay. The movie they were watching was Pan's Labyrinth. Also, I did make a B99 reference.
