My First Love

Chapter 2

Li Chen stepped out from the black car, gaping at the enormous mansion that set beyond the sidewalk, towering over him as if it was threatening to take over him.

As he stepped onto the sidewalk, Li Chen noticed a marble fountain sitting towards the right side of the lawn.

An angel holding a flower was perched on top, looking up towards the sky. Water spurted from its other hand, which laid gently out in front of it. The water fell gently towards the crystal blue pool beneath it, causing ripples to form and wave out until they were no more.

Amazed,Li Chen gently pressed the doorbell, anxious yet excited of these new arrangements.

This was going to be a huge career milestone for him. I mean...styling A-listers like Joanne and Alex were no joke!

Moments later, a shirtless Alex opened the door.

Li Chen immediately found himself in awe of his hard, lean frame as he stood naked before him. He tried to tear Li Chen's gaze from the pale outline of his magnificent form, but it was no use, and Alex's devilishly handsome features shifted into a knowing grin as he caught Li Chen staring.

"What are you doing out here? Come in,"

With his cheeks extremely flushed, Li Chen proceeded into the foyer.

The polished wood floors and graceful banister curved up toward a soaring second floor.

Velvet drapes framed the windows, the lace inner curtains remained drawn, allowing daylight to enter while rendering the heart-stopping view over the city a blur.

"Wow, this is great, the house is so beautiful!" Li Chen couldn't help but to exclaim.

Alex chuckled. Li Chen was acting like such a cute lil bunny. And that to him was irresistible.

"Li Chen, I'm so happy that you are enjoying our house, let me take you to the guest room before we start some work!" Joanne joined Li Chen's arm with hers and she led Li Chen to his new room.

The guest room was rather different from the interior of the most parts of the house.

The room was filled with a twin bed,and thin green shag closet. On the desk, a single light burned, casting light on a chintz couch and an antique Quaker. chair. A perfect creative source for him.

"Thank you so much Mrs Murray, I'll get to your makeup right now. What kind of look would you like?"

"A smokey eye and some bold red lips? I'm heading to an event later."

"Alright, let's go."

Alex's POv

Finally, that slut would leave me alone for good. She's always trying to get intimate with me, can't she understand that I'm just not feeling it?

Always trying to get herself pregnant..

Hoe.

About that boy, Li Chen, he's a pretty nice guy, I don't really know anyone that likable in the industry anymore..

They are either fame-hogging bitches or some annoying gay asshole.

Maybe I'll have a chat with Li Chen later when he's done, there must be a reason why I can't stop thinking about him.

3 hours later

" Oh my Li Chen, I look amazing. This is perfect!" Joanne exclaimed as she puts on her shimmery pink gown.

Her makeup. Check.
Hair. Check.
Dress. Check.

Alex was sure to notice her!!

"No problem, if you don't mind, I'll go rest now, I'm a little tired." Li Chen muttered.

"Of course, thank you darling!"

Joanne wasn't the best client. She was extremely picky and loved to the change her ideas every minute. Working with her definitely wasn't the easiest, but it was the one that paid most, and she had a good heart, so... Li Chen didn't mind too much.

As he dragged his feet back to his room, he felt a light tap on his shoulder.

Come on...

Li Chen turned around reluctantly to see Alex's mesmerising deep ocean blue eyes staring back at him intensely, with flecks of silvery light performing ballets throughout.

" Um, is that anything you need Mr Murray?"

"Let's have a chat." Alex replied.
