Alex's POV:

I woke up on the bed the next day, feeling all crappy. What the heck happened last night?

My head spin and the only thing I that came to mind was the sudden pain in my temples and the constant dizziness I was feeling.

"Are you alright Alex? You fainted yesterday." Joanne asked with a look of consciousness on her doll face.

Ugh.

" I'm managing, but why did I faint so suddenly?" I barely had enough strength to sit myself up on the cushions as I muttered.

The word "weakness" just circled around me, but I spared no hesitation to kick it away.

Creakk.

The door creaked open to reveal a slim silhouette. Oh, it's Li Chen, holding a tray of some weird herbal tea.

"Have some Alex. I brewed it just now, it has phenomenal healing effects." Li Chen told me timidly, and for some reason, I sensed a hint of guilt.

Li Chen then continued to pour the black herbal tea into a small oriental cup.

"What's that..Sorry for asking, but is it safe?" I asked in confusion.

" It's the korean "Lin Choon" tea. It might not look very appealing, and can even have a slight bitter taste, but it's known for promoting youth and happiness. " Li Chen explained, hoping that I would take a sip.

"Do I look like a depressed old man?" I joked. It was hilarious teasing Li Chen, he has the best reactions ever.

Li Chen instantly blushed at my words and got extremely flustered. Cute.

"Of course not Master, you look super young and happy!" He exclaimed in exhilaration.

"What did I say about how to address me?" I demanded, as pushed the neck of his tie towards my face, till we were barely inches away from each other.

Soon enough, our breaths synchronized with each other. I could just lean in and his soft pink lips would join mine..

" GUYSSS!! Stop fooling around! Alex drink that tea, it shouldn't be that bad!" Joanne screamed. Being left out was soo not her thing.

Did my girlfriend just cockblock me?

Ugh. Not cool.

I released Li Chen from my embrace with some hesitation and slurped down the tea and taste pure bitterness. Hmph, matches with the emotion I'm feeling right now..

"Okay okay guyss! I wanna sleep! Get outttt." I faced the other side and pulled up my sheets. It sure stinks.

"Alright teenager, Li Chen and I will go somewhere else!" Joanne complained while dragging Li Chen with her.

Slam! The door shut more loudly than I expected.

Ugh.
