She woke up with a start, shaking in a cold sweat. She drunkenly lifted her left hand and ran them over her right upper arm, trying to detect any different skin. She felt her familiar scar just below her shoulder.
Song Ryuwon kicked the pillow off of the bed in frustration. She felt like pulling her hair out.
Suddenly, a knock on the door interrupted her thoughts. "Ryuwon? You in there?" said a hoarse voice.
She was about to open the door, when something stopped her. She was still in shock from being called Ryuwon.
"Shut up!" whispered somebody outside the door. "You weren't supposed to call her that," a another male voice hissed. It almost seemed as if there was a cluster of males outside Ryuwon's bedroom door.
Song Ryuwon opened the door with sleepy eyes and a pounding head.
"What do you want?" she said to the man on the other side of the door. He had dusty purple hair, reminding her of lavender.
She observed his facial features. Just like Mirae described it. The male resembled the one that Mirae described, Dong Sicheng. Mirae seemed to have a particular interest in him.
"I'm just bored," he says, shrugging nonchalantly.
"What the--No you don't disturb my sleep because you're bored? Go away," she said aggressively, trying to close the door on him.
Her sleep deprivation led to the belief that Sicheng was alone. She forgot about the voices that she heard behind the door.
"Come on," he whined. "I'm just bored."
"No. I need sleep. Go away," she replied with harshness in her tone.
He pouted. "Why are you so mean?" he questioned, slowly stepping into the room.
Ryuwon didn't feel like stepping back. She stood there sturdily as Sicheng inched closer to her. "Why can't we do something?" he asked somberly.
"Why can't we...play?"
Now was when she decided enough was enough. She knew that she could easily take him on, but Sicheng knew that too.
And that is why seven other boys had come to his rescue, barging through the open door, expecting to see Sicheng hovering over an unconscious body.
But they didn't. Lee Taeyong stood at the front inspecting the situation. He knew the plan.
Jaehyun had told them about the housewife dragging Ryuwon's unconscious body away to her room, which led to the assumption that she had been drugged.
Sicheng, the one with medical skills offered to help out, to test her blood system for any traces of drugs. Taeyong assumed he would have chosen a smarter path, but he was wrong.
Here was Sicheng leaning against a half asleep Ryuwon, with his lips pressed against hers.
She felt nothing at all, but she knew something wrong was going on. She felt too drowsy to actually care though.
Sicheng knew there were other ways to see if she was drugged or not, but he didn't care. Due to his experience, he could detect any hint of foreign substance in another's body with just a peck of the lips.
He had no idea why he carried out the kiss further, but he did.
"Ahem," Taeyong said, clearing his throat.
Sicheng pulled apart and smiled sheepishly, "Well, guess what?" he asked. "She's been drugged," he said conclusively.
"Not surprised. We all know in a normal situation she would never have kissed somebody back, instead she'd leave them on the floor unconscious," said Doyoung, chuckling.
"This wasn't the plan though. What happened to the original?" asked Jaehyun. "You were supposed to knock her out and take a sample that way," he stated.
"It got boring. I like it fun," he replied simply.
Taeyong patted his back harshly, leading him and the rest out of the room, closing the door behind him. None of them seemed to care that they had left a drugged serial killer alone in the room, barely awake.
She then staggered up, holding onto the rough wooden table by her bed. She pulled herself up and threw herself onto her bed, landing face down.
She groaned, "What the fuck just happened," she complained, yanking the bedsheets up, so that she couldn't be seen.
And then she fell asleep.
