THIRD PERSON'S POV

"Fuck. I knew what I did but it was just so unfair that he didn't give me a chance to explain or inform me the things that makes him uncomfortable." Taeyong now remembered and realized why Mark was aloof and distant on their first meeting.

Taeyong is out of himself for four months now. He is too preoccupied thinking how will he befriend Mark and what did he do for his roommate to be like that. He also realizes what Jaehyun said earlier about him being alone and fling-free for four months which can be included in the Guiness.

"Maybe it's time for you to snatched the best roommate title from Jaemin?" Lucas said to his friend who's having a roommate crisis.

'Lucas is right' Taeyong thinks.

He has to confront Mark regarding this matter, snatch the best roommate title and break the one year old wall Mark built to avoid him.

Mark comes home pretty late because they decided to rap their lungs out in the practice room. He silently opens the door avoiding to make any noise that can wake his roommate up. He is about to walk to his room when someone called him that made him startled a little from the living room. Taeyong is sitting on the couch, alone without doing anything. He also noticed that it's been a long time since his roommate had a guest (aka someone to fuck with).

"You're pretty late tonight, Mark." The younger was a little shocked after hearing his roommate called his name with a more serious tone which is a little different from his usual cheerful self.

'Maybe it's not that bad to engage in a small talk' Mark notes to himself.

"I was practicing more with my friends. Sorry if I waked you up, hyung."

Taeyong stands up and runs to the younger from walking away on him. He is now in front of Mark which made the younger confused. Mark let his roommate drag him gently to the living room. He thinks that Taeyong wants to have a new rules and regulations to maintain a civilized environment in their shared unit. He had a mental note ready about the grounds he wanted to take effect like not putting the frying pan on the top shelf because he can't reach it (curse his height).

When both of them are settled in the living room and beside each other on the couch, Taeyong looks at Mark in his most serious expression. He is now making Mark nervous as he stare at him like he's gonna devour the younger.

"Mark, what are we?" Taeyong asked, breaking the silence. Mark's eyes grew bigger after hearing the older's sudden question.

"Umm, roommates?" Mark answered instantly. His answer made Taeyong a little disappointed and frowned. Mark noticed the change of his roommate's expression that makes him even more confused.

"Yeah right, roommates! Just roommates . . ."

Mark saw the disappointed in Taeyong's eyes but was only totally puzzled on why the older was acting like this tonight.

"Is there a problem? Why are you like this hyung? I didn't do anything." Mark answered nonchalantly that made the older stand up and sigh.

"That's it. The problem is that you didn't do anything." Taeyong said.
