THIRD PERSON'S POV

Mark has been thinking on what had currently happened last night and early this morning. Confrontation is one of the things he avoided to happen once he's involved with someone. Until now, he still couldn't absorb what did Taeyong say about not giving up to befriend him even if he's the worst friend the older could ever get in this lifetime.

He just couldn't believe someone like Taeyong who was a social butterfly would give so much effort to confront him of being pissed for not being his friend. Mark just couldn't get the logic of his roommate.

He didn't notice he'd already reached the rap club's practice room because his mind was clouded by his thoughts about Taeyong even if he tried so hard thinking about something else.

This is the first time he thinks for another person aside from himself, family, friends and movie characters. He told himself to stop and get his shit together.

Mark sits beside Lucas and grabs the watermelon he is eating. Lucas noticed that Mark was zoning out so much since he arrived.

"I guess he did it, huh?"

Mark nods, still zoning out as he bites the watermelon slowly. He is definitely not on his usual self today.

"You know what Mark, I didn't know being your friend is something that I can brag to Taeyong hyung. Even Jaehyun hyung said that every time Taeyong hyung is sulking about how he can't get everything and how unfair life is because his friendliness is not effective to the only one person he really wants to befriend for almost a year. Imagine, I've been bragging this for almost a year? Thanks for this but you know, give that hyung a chance? Taeyong hyung is nice, even nicer than me and Ten hyung combined if you just let him." Lucas gave his two cents, hoping he could help his friend on how to deal this friendship crisis.

Mark finds it funny because it really does make sense. His real considered friends in this university are Lucas, Ten and Johnny. He became comfortable hanging out with Jaehyun because the older is always with Lucas and that quiet and forever zoning out member of their rap club named Jisung who is always volunteering to dance whenever Mark likes to have some performance.

"Allow me to explain something from a best friend's perspective-" Ten sits between Mark and Lucas and drinks from Lucas's mineral water.

"What are you doing here, Ten hyung?" Mark asked but immediately got a respond when he remembered that Johnny was a member of the rap club. (pretty much, where Johnny goes, Ten goes)

"I skipped dance practice to watch my handsome boyfriend, isn't it obviously?" there was a slight playful tone in his voice.

"Anyway, the reason Mark avoids his roommate like a person with some contagious disease is because he likes him? A simple sign that even kindergarten kids can solve. I know him all his life so when he detects someone who is a potential bearer of romantic feelings, he will automatically turn his I-don't-give-a-fuckinator on." Ten pinches Mark's cheek but the younger didn't bother to retaliate because his best friend has the capacity to make sense (maybe just for today). He just realized that Ten knows him more than himself.
