I grab a white t-shirt that was laying on the floor and throw it over my black sports bra that I had slept in. I unwrap the hair tie from my wrist and pull half my hair into a messy ponytail, the rest of my h/l hair staying down.

My phone lights up with 'sadie🍂' and I blush a little.

I answer the call, making my h/l, h/c hair drop from the up-do I was attempting a few seconds earlier and prop my phone up on a pillow.

"Hey y/n!" Sadie exclaims excitedly.

"Hey! It's so great to finally talk to you face to face, well not face to face but not over text you-" I ramble before getting cut off my Sadie giggling. "What's so funny?"

"You're rambling y/n," Sadie replies along with another stream of giggles.

"Oh shut up. I ramble when I'm nervous," I say, quickly covering my mouth after realizing what I had just said.

"I make you nervous huh?" Sadie says with a wink.

"Sadie!" I exclaim, hiding my blushing face with my hands.

Sadie frowns and asks,

"What's wrong?"

"Don't pull shit like that!" I squeal, uncovering my face and looking back to my phone screen.

"Why not?" Sadie says with a seductive smirk, winking at me once more.

I glare at the red headed beauty on my phone screen, causing her to laugh. Wow her laugh is beautiful.

I look down at my laptop screen where I'm attempting to write an essay and scrunch my nose.

"What class?" Sadie asks, laughing at my facial expression.

"History." I look to my phone to see her smiling widely. "Why do you keep laughing at me?"

"You're just really cute." My eyes go wide at the comment. She giggles again.

My mom yells my name from downstairs. "My mom is calling for me, but I'll talk to you later."

"Okay," the redhead smiles, "Bye y/n." She gives me a little wave. I wave back and hang up the call.
