"Mom!" I yell from upstairs, not wanting to get up.

"Y/n stop yelling! It's like 8 o'clock," Lilia says with a groan.

I look at my phone and see, that it is in fact, only 8am. I nudge Lilia with my foot to tell her to get up.

"Lils get up," I whine, dragging the "u".

Lilia shakes her head and hides her face in a pillow. That's Lilia for "leave me the hell alone".

I roll my eyes and my best friend and get up, walk downstairs to see my mom making pancakes for breakfast.

"Hey momma," I say, trying to think of a way to tell her about Sadie coming.

"Good morning pumpkin," my mother replies with a smile.

I swear this woman is deaf.

"What are you making?" I ask, trying to make casual conversation. Why is this so hard? I told her about Lilia just fine.

"Pancakes and bacon. Go wake Lilia up, it's almost ready," my mom replies.

Okay so now my mom wants me dead. If I wake Lilia up I will die.
But I trudge upstairs and back into my bedroom anyway.
I take a deep breath and scream,

"LILIA CHARLOTTE BUCKINGHAM WAKE THE FUCK UP!"

Lilia yelps in fear and falls off of the edge of the bed. I double over laughing and Mason walks in my room.

"Y/n! Stop fucking yelling!" he shouts.

Lilia walks over to him and pecks his cheek, calming him down almost instantly.

"Mom made breakfast. Let's go," I say, my stomach starting to growl.

The three of us walk downstairs and sit at the kitchen island as my mom puts plates of pancakes and bacon in front of us.

"So I have this friend. She's gonna come visit in a couple of weeks," I say casually, putting butter on my pancakes.

"A friend hm?" Lilia asks, bursting in laughter.

"What's so funny?" my father asks as he walks into the kitchen and sits next to Mason.

"Y/N HAS A GIRLFRIEND!" Lilia shouts, nearly falling out of her chair, laughing.

"I do not!" I shout back, feeling my face grow warm.

My mom giggles and asks, "Who's this friend?"

"Her name is Sadie," I reply, "Sadie Sink."

"Sadie Sink?!" Mason shouts.

"Who's Sadie Sink?" my dad asks, confusion spread across his face.

"Isn't she in that show that you watch?" my mom asks, "Strange Things?"

"Okay, mom, first of all, it's Stranger Things, and second of all, yes she is. She found me on instagram and here we are," I reply.

"Well I see no problem with her coming to visit," my mom says, putting leftover bacon on a paper towel.

I smile widely and get up, kissing my mom on the cheek, and run upstairs to tell Sadie.
