I stand up from my bed and walk into the family room to look for my mother, and instead of seeing my mom doing something that she needed my help with like I expected, I see Lilia fucking Buckingham standing in the center of the room and my mom standing in the corner with her phone help up like she's taking a video.

"Hi y/n," the blonde girl says with a smile.

I smile the widest grin I've ever smiled and run to her, enfolding her in a hug. She hugs me back as tears run down m face. 

"You didn't tell me you were coming!" I say when I finally pull away from our hug.

"Your mom and I wanted to surprise you," Lilia replies with a smile.

I look at my mom with shock spread across my face and her and Lilia laugh. I look back to Lilia and pull her in for another hug, burying my head in the crook of her neck. She hugs me back and I hear my mom's phone camera going off, but I don't care. I finally have my best friend in my arms.

About ten seconds later I hear thumping down the stairs and my brother scream,

"Lilia?!"
