What I can do

After some time, Ash fell asleep in Alain's arms, still gripping one of his hands tightly, refusing to let go even in his sleep. Alain had no problem with staying for the night, so he just made himself more comfortable and then drifted off to sleep. A noise came from the other room.

"Huh?", Ash stuttered after he and Alain simultaneously to the mysterious sound.

"What was that?", Alain shivered. An ominous shadow came through the door, revealing itself as nothing but a silhouette. It was tall. It walked slowly, its footsteps getting louder with the passing of each second. Finally, it got to the bed, where both the young boys were sitting on their knees.

"It's been a while since I looked at you in this way...son"

Ash froze. He knew that voice. That evil, treacherous, nerve - wracking voice.

Lysandre.

"Hmph. You may think I'm here for you, but I'm here for my former employee. I've got a meeting with him", Lysandre stated so calm that it sounded slightly insane. He grabbed Alain's hand brutally and pulled him out of the room, running at full speed with his enemy trailing behind him.

"Well, you want to play games, Father?", Ash whispered evilly,"I may not have been able to prove myself before, but I think you should know that I can be even more crazy than you"

Lysandre dragged Alain into an empty room with no furniture, and slammed him against the floor, hardly hurting him.

"Now you will pay"

He grabbed a crowbar that he hid in his jacket, and held it above Alain.

"Say goodbye-"

Suddenly, his attack was intercepted with an axe, sending him flying across the room and pounding him into the ground. Looking up, he saw his son standing just as he was, only with a more evil expression, and red eyes.

"Yes, Father. You should say goodbye.", Ash pointed the sharp end of his weapon straight at his Father's face. Lysandre trembled with horror.

"What? You think I didn't inherit any of your maniacal blood? You're not the only one here who can play"

He threw the axe into the floor, causing it to collapse, sending his Father, himself and Alain down with it. There they were going from the 50th floor to the 37th. Ash landed perfectly on top of the rubble, Alain fell on the sandy part, and Lysandre came crashing down. Ash walked towards his Father with a grin on his face, somehow forgetting his anxiety.

"When I was younger, you said I needed to have my own strength and not depend on weapons too much. You told me that a lot while beating me up. Well, how about I show you our progress?"

Ash held him by the throat, essentially choking him, and threw him into the rubble again. He stomped his foot into the wreckage, making a large rock shoot up from it, which he caught immediately and started running at lightning speed towards his Father. He tossed it into the air, and as soon as it came close to him again, he kicked it right into the spot where Lysandre was lying. This didn't make him move as much as before, but it did cause a lot of destruction. He found the sharpest piece and held it so it was face to face with him.

"Awww, what a shame, you didn't get to say goodbye yet", Ash sarcastically wallowed with pity.

"Ash! Stop!"

Alain grabbed Ash by the hand as he knew standing in front of him or grabbing the rock from him was a bad idea.

"Ash...I know you're angry at your Father, but this isn't who you are. You're sweet, you forgive so easily and repetitively and you're always love - able. You don't have to be like this to sow your Father the pain he caused you."
