Ash and co. woke up the next morning particularly early. Professor Sycamore agreed to teach them about Ash, especially the things he went to a lot of trouble to hide. Ash and Lysandre were outside, talking to each other during the presentation.

"You know I can't control myself when the other persona takes over! Just because you can control it a little more doesn't mean you can get mad at me!", Lysandre reasoned, trying to get his son to forgive him. He didn't blame the boy, since he did take Delia away from Red on purpose, forced her to put his DNA in the yet-to-be-born child, and abused him once he was born and left right after. Not to mention traumatizing him after their first meeting in a decade.

"It's not that I'm mad at you for what you did. Why did you do it? Did you forget about me? Did you not care anymore? You never cared from the start anyways", Ash replied stubbornly.

Meanwhile, in a small room in Professor Sycamore's lab, Serena, Clemont and Alain sat down so they could see exactly what Ash had hidden from them.

"Okay, we'll talk about his Psychopathic persona first.", Professor Sycamore started as he pressed a button on a remote to change the slides on the screen.

"Ash was born with two separate personalities. One is a psychopath, and one is a normal person. One of the strangest things discovered about what experts call the 'Monotone Mind', which is the term they used to describe Ash's condition, is that his eye color changes with the personality in use. I know there's been a lot of confusion with the color of Ash's eye lately, so I'll break it down"

Professor Sycamore showed them a diagram of the layers of Ash's eye. The front was the purple and blue gradient they saw before, and the back was the combination of rainbows. it showed the white lens, which was the lens Ash was born with that enhances his sight. The front part of his iris was divided into parts. It had lines going from the edge of the iris to the pupil.

"The back part has normal eye functions like every other human, and the front part is the one that sees everything. If you concentrate, you can see Ash's eye in the process of changing what it sees. The parts it's divided into are showing how it does it. They flash white when they are working. To put it in simple terms, Ash's eyes measure everything. You can see the measurements in the reflection of his iris if you look closely. It may be scary to see sound waves in someone's eye, but it's also incredibly useful. Now, onto his split personality"

Sycamore changed the slides, showing a picture of Greninja in it's Ash-Greninja form.

"Remember how when this occurs, Ash's movements are changed? Well, it turns out, Greninja is more than just a Greninja."

Greninja walked through the door and stood next to the Professor.

"It turns out, Greninja can actually control Ash. He can decide what Ash does and how he does it. Obviously not all the time, but sometimes. When they are synchronized, he can tell Ash what to do. I've made this easier by registering Greninja's fingerprint, so that we can easily make impulsive decisions for Ash, especially when his psychopathic personality is active. Don't think of it as controlling you friend, think of it as helping him.

Ash and Lysandre were still at it outside, both wanting to hit the other with an axe.

"I know, maybe you don't want to take over Team Flare when you're old enough, it's just what I want you to do! I don't know if I can see you doing anything else!", Lysandre moaned.

"Think about what I want to do! Your wife's original husband is the Emperor of Kanto! I might want to take that up instead, everyone wants me to and so do I!", Ash argued back.

"But I hate that man! When I fell in love with your mother, he always took me away from her and tried to stop me from seeing her"

"You took her away from him. They were already happily married."
