The first destination they were due to go to was Korea, starting with Seoul. They decided to travel by Pokemon, so they didn't freak people out about the Princess being with them. Ashura's phobia of Pokemon still remained, so she took Noivern, one of the only flying-types she trusted, to go across the skies. Serena, Clemont and Professor Sycamore took a Salamence, Delia, Red and Lysandre took a Charizard, Alain went on Noivern with Ashura and Shinji, Shigeru, Dent, Takeshi and Trip took a Gyarados.

About five hours into their twelve hour flight, everyone started to get sleepy, but the Pokemon had taken a long rest beforehand and were more than capable of finishing the trip without fatigue. Ashura, however, wasn't getting sleepy at all. She was too busy thinking about how their journey had started in the first place. She'd been traumatized by her father who'd abused her as a child, hurt by the same person continuously weeks after the incident, and still had yet to find her confidence. On the other hand, she'd revealed her identity to her friends and gained determination and knowledge as well as making progress in her relationships. She'd grown more than she'd realized.

Alain noticed how deep into thought she was and clicked his fingers in front of her face to get her attention.

"Are...you okay?", he asked tentatively.

"I'm fine. I'm just thinking about everything that's happened in the last, what, month? It's really been the most exciting journey of my life.", she replied, smiling as her eyes sparkled. Alain chuckled in relief to her response and started to play with her hair.

"You hair's really pretty, you know. I don't know why you'd ever wanna hide it"

"Well, I told you when you found out. Back when I was a kid, girls couldn't be good rulers, and I was made fun of for wanting to be a great empress. But, I don't think people are like that anymore."

Awkward silence filled the air as they both slowly realized they were the only ones awake. Alain began to braid Ashura's hair in order to at least do something if he wasn't speaking.

"Aren't you getting sleepy?", he asked her.

"No, there's too many things to think about. Not that I'm troubled, it's just that sleep isn't really what I want right now. I took a nap before we set flight, so I'll be fine", she answered calmly.

"Did I tell you I can also fly?"

Alain's eyes widened.

"No way. Really?"

Ashley chuckled.

"Yeah. I'm the only one in the family who can do that. The powers of the Royal Aura Family get stronger with each generation, so mine have been the most powerful so far."

"Wait...so couldn't you have just flown to Seoul?"

"Yes, but I wanted to ride with you. It'd be less fun flying on my own"

Alain blushed as he started to get to the ends of her hair. She felt it and touched the back of her head with her glowing hand, creating purple highlights that ran down her dark locks and sealed the end with a magic hair tie. Alain's amazement was obvious.

"Wow...that was awesome. Are there any spells you already know?", he praised, becoming more interested in her for anything she did or said.

"Of course! I know lots of basic and really difficult spells. The spells we're looking for are ancient and hidden."

"So what can you do?"

"Anything!"

She cupped her hands together, and shimmering lights of indigo rose in swirls from her palms. Gathering groups of dust and stars, they fused to form a purple and blue crystal rose, with petals that reflected the moonlight and leaves that showed infinite life in their shiny roots. She handed the rose to Alain, who couldn't stop staring at it.
