Audrey POV

When Y/N fell asleep, glowing purple apparitions appeared around the boy, all whispering and hissing curses and other things I couldn't quite catch.

The boy tossed and turned, his face showing extreme discomfort. He appeared to be having a violent dream.

Suddenly, he shot out of the bed like a rocket, his shirt and face drenched in sweat, which was odd, considering he'd only been asleep a few minutes.

But for whatever reason, Y/N looked... Older. His cheeks were slightly sunken, and his skin had an unhealthy pallor to it. When he turned to me, his eyes were wild, and there was a sort of desperation in them.

He grabbed my shoulders and began to shake me. "They won't leave! Axyl, they won't stop!!! I paid my dues to them, why won't they go away?!?!?" Y/N cried.

"Y/N, calm down! Dude, it's Audrey!!! Chill!!!" I exclaimed, trying to push the boy away. Despite his unhealthy appearance, he was REALLY strong.

Finally, Y/N relaxed. He looked around wildly, like he didn't know where he was. He rushed over to his suitcase, pulling out ammo boxes, clothes, knives, snacks, and toiletries, and tossing them behind him.

"Where are they, where are they, where are they?!?!?!?" Y/N exclaimed in a frightened whisper.

Finally, he reached in and pulled out a syringe. Without any hesitation, he jammed it into his chest, right over his heart. He pressed down the plunger, and sighed in relief as the more and more of the syringe's contents entered his bloodstream.

The second it was empty, Y/N slowly removed the syringe, his skin resuming its normal shade, his cheeks appearing less sunken. In short, he looked...healthier.

"Oh, well isn't that just fantastic? My roommate is a drug addict." I growled, moving to leave the room before Y/N grabbed my arm.

"Audrey, listen. Don't tell anyone else, OK? It's just my medication." Y/N pleaded. I scoffed.

"Listen here, dude. I came here to get away from that stuff. I will tell Ozpin if you are doing that stuff." I hissed.

"Oh, well I already know, Miss DeLeon. It is, in fact, simply his medicine." Ozpin replied, startling me.

I relaxed, and Y/N let go. Ozpin left, and Y/N sat down on his bed.

"Audrey, I need you to keep this a secret. Please." Y/N begged. I nodded, and he sighed in relief.

After putting a few vials of the stuff on a little belt around his mid-thigh, Y/N and I headed down to the cafeteria for dinner.

3rd POV

"Stupid Cardin and his stupid..." grumbled Jaune as he passed Y/N. Thinking nothing of it, Y/N continued on his quest for food.

Voices began whispering in Y/N's head once more, but he shoved them to the back of his mind, screaming for them to be silent. Within his mind, the voices ceased, and Y/N opened his eyes, and managed to run straight into Cardin Winchester and his team.

"Hey, would you look at that? We were just looking for a little freak." Cardin sneered. Y/N smiled at Cardin, then attempted to turn away.

"I'll be on my way, gentlemen. I just wanna get my food and get gone." Y/N said, a forced smile on his face. Cardin and his team laughed.

One of Cardin's teammates grabbed Y/N's medication and held it aloft, a smug grin on his face. Y/N went pale.

"Give that back," He hissed, trying to keep his semblance under control.
