As i walked into Algbrea i seen Amy again so i walked over ans sat next to her, she looked at me and smiled "are you stalking me now Briley? i laugh and look around her group of friends who looked stunned and confused "no i guess we just have this class together" she smiles "well theres my girls Teenisha & Starr" they both wave "Girls this is the new chick Briley" i smile shyly immediately Starr looks at me "why are you at this school white girl" i swallow hard.."because my parents are getting divorced and im living with a family friend" she smirks and rolls her eyes "who are you living with?" i wait a moment before answering as the bell rings "the carters" then the teacher makes her way to the front of the class and begins talking we all give her our full attention besides some boys joking around in the back of the class room. As she starts calling roll she comes to my name "Briley collins?" i say here and she smiles "sorry i wasnt aware we had a name student" she looks around the room "well class we obviously have a new student i hope you all make her feel welcome and if she needs help finding classes i hope you'll be there for her" i smile as she finishes calling role and gets us started on our class work. in the middle of the class my phone vibrates and i check the message under the desk its my dad " Hope your having a good first day" i frown and reply "thanks" Amy looks over and says you might wanna put that away other students might see in and try and steal in and as well for mrs.Johnson she'll confiscate it." i smile a quick thank you then tuck my phone away and finish working on the assignment for the rest of class silently.

3rd period is easy to find as well as 4 i didnt talk to anyone in either period's i hadn't seen none of the Carter boys since 2nd period and was starting to worry about who to sit by at lunch which was in 3 mintues and i still couldnt find the cafeteria. then i hear a voice call from behind me "Sup Snowflake..you going to lunch?" i look up to see Thoma's arm drooped over my shoulder. i look up at him "yeah just cant find the lunch room.." i look at the floor and shrug his arm off me then he looks down "Well i'll show ya and you can sit by me and the Brothers, I'll introduce you to a few more people in there" i smile thanks Thomas as we get to the Cafe its crowed and noisy and i look around and see all the carter brothers at one table and Trevon looks over and smiles while Thomas and i get our lunch. once we get our lunch we make our way over to the table with lots of lingering eyes. Once we get to the table Trevon offers me the seat next to him so i sit and smile a t a few unfamiliar faces. Thomas plops down next to me and i feel butterflies in my stomach. Thomas points to each person at the table that i dont already know and tells me there names "Chris, Josh & Karlie(Josh's girlfriend) once we all start talking the butterflys go away and i start to feel better about this school and making friends once the lunch bell is over Karlie gives josh a quick kiss and smiles at me "do you need help finding your next class i smile "yes please room 144"  She jumps yup "I got that class next to you'll love it Mr.mel is amazing!" i smile alright then she loops her arm in with mine and drags me to class as im laughin once we get there a handsome semi younge man is standing at the door she hugs him "Mr.Mel we have a new student today her name is Briley!  he smiles and shakes my hand "nice to meet you Briley im mr.Mel as you obviously know this is my 1st year of teaching so sorry if i dont teach like your used to you can be paired with Karlie for the day go in and take a seat anywhere" when his hand touched mine it was like an eletric shock and it made me tingle all over once we got into class he went over what we would be working on for the day we had to pick a partner and president and get as much information on them as possible and what date they went in and out off office and how many terms they served. during the entire class period while doing rescreach i keep finding my eyes wonder to mr.mel and Karlie continuously laughing at me for it finally she spoke up "kinda cute huh?" i laughed "cute? no more like sexy" we laugh and then mr.mel claps his hands in the front of the class room "alright class like always no homework tonight when you get in class tomorrow get with your partners right away and finish research and then i will provide you with poster bored and you will begin to get ready for your presentations on the presidents you've chosen"

Karlie helped me to my next class which went by very quickly we just learned about infants and were told we'd be getting a fake baby within the next week or two that we had to treat like our own and take care of for a weekend. Once that class was over i rushed to the library after taking a bathroom break and seen that Malik was in my study hall so i went and sat over next to him. and he looked up "i really hope your not waiting to chat because i have a ton of work i need to finish" i frown slightly before he looks up with a stressed look on his face "Naw its fine i'll just work on my English paper." he smiles as we both get to work. within the last 5 minutes of class he slams his book across the table i look up from my paper "Everything okay?" he lets out a groan "i cant figure out this stupid Algerbra 2 problem." i smile sweetly "i can help you at home if you'd like" he waits a moment and then rolls his eyes "fine..thanks i guess..need help finding the bus?" i nod "please"
