The oldest memory of his life is the swipe and caresses of something big and warm on his body. He is jolted awake by it, a queer to his cold surrounding. It was slightly strong yet carefull at the same time. It was so big that it engulfs his whole body and sent him swaying a bit.

He remembers the need to clutch as he felt his body being lifted high in the air. He trembles from the lack of balance and grip in his younger days. The feeling of 'safe' and 'home' vanished from his senses but the soft touches on his fur are so warm.

It was so warm that he can't help but snuggled in.

He always dreamt about his mother on his gloomy days, telling him that she loves him and he must take a good care of himself because he is special. It's just the same flashes that comes back repeatedly, the same thing that never bores him yet makes him happy. He can't see her feature but even if he does, he won't recognise her.

Smell doesn't present in dreams, but cats do have feelings.

The bigger question is, does dreams even occurred for cats? It doesn't matter anyways, it's not like he can ask, speak about it nor does he cares about it. He can't make a name, creates experiments; it's impossible and unbeneficial. Plus, how does he understands his mother? Again, cats can't speak.

Maybe it's not even a dream. Maybe it's just his mind creating images and situations so that he feels as if there's actually someone who really cares about him. Maybe his mother doesn't even loves him.

Maybe he doesn't even have any memories.

He's a cat after all.
