There weren't many people who your father told about you. It wasn't because he was ashamed of you, no, he was afraid of your safety. Being who he was, Tony Stark knew his enemies would use you to their advantage. So, Tony sent you to boarding school so you were out if harms way. After a couple years though you begged your father to let you live at home, be with him. He agreed, it made sense to have you under the same roof as The Avengers. It was also a blessing enrolling you at a public school, it meant Tony could have his own little spy keep an eye on you.

Peter was thrilled when he found out you were joining his school. Finally someone who wouldn't treat him like a child. He and Ned vowed to protect you with their lives, although Tony was only concerned with Peter involvement but none the less they stuck to their word. You loved the boys and were thankful they cared about you but more than once you had to remind them that even though you had bipolar you were fragile and break.

"Where are you going?" Ned turned to Peter when he started walking in the opposite direction to his house.

Peter shrugged nonchalantly. "Just... Nowhere..." he shrugged with his hands in his pockets.

Ned rolled his eyes. "You're going to see Y/N, aren't you?" Peter shook his head clearly lying. "Dude, why? You know why she wasn't at school, today?"

Peter shrugged. "I care about her, so what?"

"Whatever. Say hi to your girlfriend for me." Ned waved his hand as he began walking away.

"Dude, I don't love her." Peter argued.

Ned raised his eyebrow. "I never said anything about love, dude. Now I'm thinking you do." he teased his friend.

"Shut up." Peter rolled his eyes dramatically as he turned round and began heading to Stark Tower.

You sat with your arms wrapped around knees in your room looking out the window, your baggy knitted jumper drowning you. You were hiding from your dad and the others, well, not so much hiding but staying out the way. Tony had been following you around asking if you were okay constantly. You wish you could tell him no, you have bipolar so you'd never be okay but he didn't understand. He thought he could make a little gadget and make you okay but he couldn't.

"Y/N?" you saw Peter's reflection in the window. "Hey." he smiled softly at you. "Hmm, missed you at school today. Ned says hi." he walked over to your bed and sat down. "How, are you?" he smiled.

"What do you want, Peter?" you mumble looking round to him.

He sighed standing up and walking over to you. "For you to be happy." he brushed your hair back. He gently picked your hand up and pushed back your sleeve, sighing with relief as he saw your clean wrist.

"I haven't, don't worry." you pulled your hand back and lifted your other up to show him.

Peter nodded taking another breath. "Sorry... I just, I don't like seeing you-" he shook his head sighing. "How are you feeling?"

You shrugged looking back out the window. "Shit. Tired. Lonely. Angry. Sad. Confused. Take your pick." you frowned. "Better for seeing you though..." you smiled softly at him. "How about you?" you looked back to him.

"Worried. Sad. Scared. In love." he whispered looking away. "Promise me, Y/N, you won't ever hurt yourself again." you stayed quiet as you stared at the window. "Please?" he whispered as he placed his hand on yours.

"Why do you care, Peter?" you asked turning to look at him. You saw tears filling his eyes making you instantly worry about him. "Peter?"

"Cause, I love you, Y/N. And, it kills me, seeing you like this. You're so, caring and bright and... Amazing... And, gorgeous... And, it's not fair you having this stupid, horrible thing!" he smacked his hand against the window as his tears fell.

"I love you, too." you whispered as you carefully took his other hand. "The creepy spider thing, too." you smirked a little at him making him laugh.

Peter nodded smiling more to himself. "Okay, food, yeah... So, maybe, you know we could...hmm-"

"No!" you jumped at the sound of your dad's voice. "Stop it!" he walked in quickly. "FRIDAY, didn't I tell you to stop any PDA happening in here?" Tony over reacted. You and Peter stared at your dad as he argued with the AI system.

You rolled your eyes smiling at Peter. "Want to get some Pizza?" you whispered over to him. He nodded smiling at you. You took Peter's hand and the two of you walked out of your bedroom whilst Tony continued to argue (and lose) with FRIDAY.

"So,are you you gonna ask me on that date or-"
