Nico POV:

I fell face-first on the concrete that was on the other side of the wall that divided platform nine and three quarters from the mortal- I mean muggle- world.
I picked myself up, immediately staring in awe at the beautiful sight ahead. "Reyna.... Reyna, are you seeing what I'm seeing?" I whisper-yelled to the Roman praetor standing beside me.
"The... the Hogwarts express! It's so beautiful! I mean, maybe not as beautiful as the Argo II, but...... wow." She was right. I took in all of the surroundings, almost every detail.
There were big windows lining the building, filling King's Cross Station with bright light that gave me a pang of homesickness. The sun was always bright at Camp Half Blood, because there was magical barriers preventing all bad weather to cross over its magical skies.
In the middle, though, there was a huge red and black and gold train. Along the sides, with bold print, were the words 'Hogwarts Express.' families crowded around, saying goodbye to their loved ones for a year. There was a child, about eleven, complaining to his parents that he did not want to go away from them. I snorted in contempt. They don't know how lucky they are. At least their families are still alive, and does not hate them.... tears pricked the edges of my eyes. I could not go there, so I sniffled and wiped my eyes. Reyna gave me a questioning glance, but after I didn't answer, she thankfully did not press it.
"Hey, Nico, I think we should go board the train before it leaves without us."
I looked up, startled. "O-oh. Yeah. Let's go. We can't be left behind."
With those words, Reyna and I raced to the train. We stepped inside. All of the compartments were full, so it seemed. We walked down the aisle until we, finally, came to compartment that wasn't completely full.
Reyna stepped in the doorway and knocked on the doorframe. All three heads came up from a hushed conversation. "Hello. Can me and my friend sit here? Everywhere else is full."
"Yes," A girl with curly brown hair spoke. "Please, come in. I'm Hermione, this is Ron," she gestured to the red headed boy we had met earlier. "And this is Harry. Harry Potter." Hermione beamed with pride as a dark haired boy with glasses and a lightning shaped scar on his forehead waved at the demigods.
Reyna coolly walked in and sat down on the beach opposite the golden trio. I followed. I tried my best to blend into the shadows, but it clearly wasn't working, as the wizards eyed him warily. I sat beside the daughter of Bellona and stared out of the window, sensing the curious eyes laying on him.
Reyna held out her hand, and Hermione shook it. "Hi. I'm Reyna Ramirez-Arellano, and the dark boy next to me is Nico di Angelo. We are exchange students from America." I heard an unbelieving snort from the red haired boy.
      I glared daggers at him.
"So, What brings you here?" Hermione's question was, I realized, directed straight at me.
I looked up at her. She looked nice enough, but I will have to earn their trust. Really, Nico? I can't wait to gain their trust. There is war ahead, I can feel it. We need to gain allies. "Yeah.....we just scraped up the right amount of money, so that we could transfer here for about a year, from this really crappy school in America. So, yeah. We're here." I snarled the last two sentences, hoping to get the questions, and attention, directed away from me.
But, of course, as soon as I looked out the window, I caught the whispers of Ron and Harry. "What do you think, Harry? I think they're death eaters."
"I don't know, Ron, I think that the emo kid over there is definitely a death eater-"
I interrupted Harry with a quiet snort. He looked at me, to see that I was glaring in he and Ron's direction. But I just intensified (#TheCreepinessIntensifies) the death glare for a split second and then looked away. Harry flinched, shocked, then glanced at Ron and slightly nodded.
The boy who lived shied away.
     Then, he gained confidence.
     A lot of confidence.
"What is with you!?" Harry's voice rose in volume. "You are so dark and gloomy!! Be a ray of sunshine for once!!"
The weird thing is, I wasn't even fazed, much less mad.
I wish that I could say the same about Reyna.
The praetor of the twelfth legion slowly stood up, her fists balled and clenched at her side.
I mouthed the words, run, Harry! And he saw, but either he didn't understand the meaning, or he just chose to ignore me.
Reyna's voice was eerily calm. "Harry Potter..... oh..do you value your life?" Harry, startled, nodded his head quickly. "Well then.... Harry Potter, do you know what type of danger that you put yourself in?" Harry shook his head slowly, staring at Reyna.
She lunged at him, screaming, "YOU JUST MADE SURE THAT YOUR DEATH IS NOT GOING TO BE FROM  VOLDEMORT, BUT FROM THE FLIPPING NICO PROTECTION SQUAD!!" As the Roman was only a few inches from murdering Harry, I jumped up and grabbed her shoulders, holding her back.
Reyna struggled against my grip, until I bent down and whispered into her ear. "Reyna, calm down...... he's right. I should be more...ugh...sunny. But maybe, if he deserves it, then I will let you kill him slowly and painfully.....got it?"
Reyna said nothing, just gently jerked away from me. She turned to me. Her voice was still calm, just a little less tense. "I am going to go get my robes on. We're almost to Hogwarts."
As my vicious sister figure departed, she gave Harry a painful and complimentary kick in the shin, earning a squeak to come from the boy. She left to get her robes, and soon after, I followed.
