When You Love Someone

Shopping Day

Makayla walked in the bathroom, picked up my toothpaste and toothbrush. I was happy when I saw Daniel in the bathroom at the other sink, brushing his teeth.

"Where should we go today?" I said still brushing my teeth.

"We need to go to Walmart. I need to pick-up somethings, "Daniel explained looking directly at me.

"Okay, So we must be eating out for dinner" I retorted.

Me and Daniel put on some clothes to go out. I went outside to start the car. I forgot my purse so I had to go back to the house.

"Daniel, grab my purse off the counter, "I yelled.
"Okay, I'll get it but, I'm going to pay for everything," Daniel replied.

Daniel drove the car to Walmart. He drives slow though, I guess he doesn't want to wreck his rental Camaro. When we got to Walmart Daniel had a list of stuff saying: Towels
Tissue
Trash bags
Paper towel
Dishwashing liquid
Socks
Trash tin
As we were getting the stuff. There were long lines so we had to wait. Thirty minutes went by and there was a line open. We got to the line and I put everything up on the cash register. The total came out to be twenty-nine dollars and ninety-five cents.
"Finally we can go to McDonald's," I said exhausted from all that walking.

"Um.....McDonald's?" Daniel said with a crazy look on his face.

"Yes, McDonald's because I love their twenty piece chicken nuggets," I explained.

Daniel slowly starts to back out of the parking space. He starts to drive out of Walmart's parking lot. Ten minutes later we arrived at McDonald's. We get to the ordering thing.

"Yes, Welcome to McDonald's how can I help out this fine morning?" The kind lady said.

"Good morning, I would like an egg, sausage, and cheese biscuit, Daniel retorted.

"Also, may I get another egg, sausage and cheese biscuit", I added.
"Your total will be five dollars and sixty-eight cents", The lady said.

After buying everything, Daniel and I went home and put everything in the house.

"All that walking made me tired," Daniel said.

"Me too, I going to make pork chops and green beans," I retorted.

While I walked to the kitchen, Daniel pulled out the pack of pork chops and green beans. I grabbed the pork chops and opened them. Taking out four pork chops, two for the both of us.

An hour later everything was ready the table, pork chops, and greens. I was so happy to eat in front of his face for a long time. Even though he was gone for a few months, it feels sort of crazy. Also, even though he's been home for two days including today.
