Chapter Three

~LAUREN'S P.O.V~

I got back to the dorm to see Leslye talking on the phone.

"Thanks Lou, love you!" Leslye said before hanging up.

Hehe, Lou. Reminds me of Louis Tomlinson. He's so funny. Hazza's my favorite though. That adorable dimple, those perfect green eyes, the curls...

"Umm Lauren?" Leslye said, interrupting my thoughts.

"Huh?" I said, startled.

"You were kinda spaced out.." Leslye chuckled.

"Oh, right. Here's your coffee." I handed Leslye her coffee.

"Thankss." She smiled.

"Soo it's like almost six P.M, what are we gonna do for dinner? I don't really know London very well yet..."

"I'll take you somewhere! Let me think.." She furrowed her eyebrows, and then jumped up excitedly. "I know! Nandos! It's my brothers and his friends favorite place to eat."

Wait a second. Hold the phone. OH MY GOSH I'M GOING TO NANDOSSSS!!!! THAT'S ONE DIRECTION'S FAVORITE RESTAURANT!!!

"Yes! Nandos that's perfect!!" I said excitedly. Leslye gave me an odd look. "I mean, I don't know what Nando's is or anything...but like..um..it sounds erm cool.." I looked away awkwardly.

"Well lets get ready then!" Leslye exclaimed.

I go to my dresser and pull out a pair of light skinny jeans and floral tank top. I quickly change and then throw my hair up into a messy bun.

"I'm ready when you are." I told Leslye.

"Ok I'm ready too. Wanna take my car?" Leslye asked me.

"Yeah.. I don't really have a car since I just got here. So I'll walk and take busses to my classes." I explained to Leslye.

"Ok no problem! I can probably drive you to some of your classes too. K let's go." Leslye said.

The car ride was fairly awkward. We sat there in silence for the first few minutes, and then Leslye leaned forward and turned on the radio. And you know what was on? You guessed it, One Direction. Just my luck. 'What Makes You Beautiful' was at the part just before the chorus. When it came to the chorus, I started singing. I didn't mean to, it just sort of came out. So- to save my act -I began to sing the parody of it by The Key Of Awesome (A/N: it's a parody of WMYB on YouTube).

"Baby we make real bands go home and slit their wrists! We are the seventh sign of the apocalypse! We're running now cuz we don't know what water is! You don't know oh-oh, you don't know we're terrible! You thought that boy bands were dead and gone, but just like cancer and aids we're still going strong! Ten million teen girls and old perverts can't be wrong! Let's all point and run, pointing at stuff is such fun! Point point! We don't know were almost done! What's going on? I see your thong! Girl did you know that I've got the same one o-o-on-" I was going to continue when Leslye turned the radio off.

"Ok that's enough of that." Leslye said, sounding slightly annoyed.

"I thought I was pretty good." I defended myself.

"You are a funny person, Lauren." Leslye said, laughing.

"I have a feeling we're going to get on well!" I laughed with her.

"Ook we're here!" She said, getting out of the car.

When we got there, I looked at the menu and was very overwhelmed. I'm really bad at choosing things and making decisions. When it was time to order, I turned to Leslye.

"Uhmm can you just order me something good? I don't really know what to get..."

"Two Peri-Peri Chickens please!" Leslye ordered cheerfully. Oh yeah, that's Niall's favorite!

Once we got our food, I dug right in. I was so hungry. And wow, the food is as good One Direction says it is.

"Wow, this is so good!" I exclaimed.

"I know!" Leslye chuckled.

"Soo tell me a bit about yourself. We are going to be living together for the next year afterall." I laughed.

"Ok. Well I'm kind of like a nine year old trapped in a eighteen year old's body." She said, laughing. "I mean like, I can be so immature sometimes. I just love to have fun though, ya know?!"

"Yeah, I'm like that too sometimes!" I responded.

"So how are you liking London?" She asked.

"I love it! The boys are hot. I love British accents. I'd like never shut up if I had one. Not that I ever shut up anyways..." I chuckled.

Leslye and I talked for a while and got to know each other. She is such a great person! I can tell already we are going to become best friends. She's so funny, nice, and down to earth. She also is a bit devious, like me. This should be a super fun year. After dinner, we went back to the dorm and went to bed early.
