Elijah's Life in Prison

Elijah's first two weeks of prison has gotten very good and bad on some occasions due to the crime he didn't commit which is a hit and run. When he first arrived, some prisoners are grinning at his body as some bully him for being an amputee as Elijah felt hurt. Two nice female officers know that he's innocent and told him that his family will help him find a way out as other officers told him to toughen up instead of being a baby. The prison food he got is very good as many of the prisoners got really angry at Elijah for having some special treatment. It is now his third week as he's now going to the cafeteria and he's now hungry. He got on line as many prisoners are walking over to get their lunch as one prisoner push Elijah in a harsh way.

"Freak." The prisoner said

"Shut up.." Elijah said

"No! You're a freak! This is our house and you are the littlest kid on the planet! You're a freaky kid with one arm and I will beat your ass for doing the hit and run crime!" The male prisoner said

The chef noticed Elijah as he came over with a small smile on his face and pat his head.

"You seem scared. Don't worry I made you something to make you feel right at home." The chef said

The chef then gave Elijah some hot spaghetti and meatballs with Parmesan cheese and some French baguette as one prisoner feels pissed.

"HEY!! How come that amputee kid gets special treatment and we got this shit?!" The prisoner yelled

A male officer came over and carry Elijah's tray to the table as he sit down as Elijah thanks him as he started to eat his food. Two male prisoners who got red hair and blue eyes as one is 16 years old and one is 14 years old looked at Elijah.

"Hey kid. My name is Lex and this is my brother Lenard." Lex said

"Hi Lex and Lenard." Elijah said shyly

"How did you end up in here?" Lenard asked

"I-I was walking in town being extra careful until I see a car running over a lady. I carried her to the hospital and the cops think that I was the one responsible. They then sent me to court and I got sentenced to life without parole." Elijah cried

"WHAT?!!!" Lex growled

"That is so harsh! Setting you in here for a crime you've never commit! You're an innocent but young kid!" Lenard said

"The judge doesn't believe me including the cops!" Elijah said

Kevin along with Albert heard the conversation and quickly came over as they also felt extremely angry as Elijah is finish eating his food.

"FIRST OFF THATS HARSH AND SECOND YOU'RE A KID!" Albert said

"Elijah listen to me good. I've been like you. I've been a good kid ever since I was young along with Luther and we got arrested for a crime we never did. We got framed for killing our parents when the actual criminals got off Scott free. Prison is not a good place for a kid like yourself." Lenard said

"When we got in there, the big guys always stared at us from eye to eye as they wanted us and to take advantage of us. We have seen terrible things in prison." Lex said

"I just saw a guy with his head busted wide open in the shower and got laid there for dead!" Kevin said

"Plenty of bad things happen to people in prison and I'm serious. You can get stabbed, sexually abused, or even worse. One time Lex got stabbed a few times and he beats a guy to death with his fists. This is not a good place for a kid like yourself! You got family, friends, and many people that loved you and cared about you. Keep going on the right path, get a good education and even start a new life." Albert said

Elijah nodded as one male prisoner grabbed Elijah and pinned him against the wall and growl as other five male prisoners came over while balling their fists out of anger. They are all in their thirties with tattoos as they are gang members.

"Hey little freak. We saw what you got. Special treatment won't get you nowhere once I bust your head open." The first male prisoner said

"What's so special to have a chef and officers being so nice to you?" The second male prisoner said

"You got that special treatment? Oh no no no. You get what you get!" The third prisoner yelled

"I'm an amputee...." Elijah whimpered

"AN AMPUTEE DON'T MEAN SHIT!" The fourth male prisoner shouted

"You will get our treatment for being a spoiled brat!" The fifth male prisoner growled

"Let's beat this royal kid up!" The sixth male prisoner said

The six prisoners begin to beat up Elijah as he screamed with agonizing pain as he felt the first prisoner breaking his arm as he let out a bloodcurdling scream as he started to have flashbacks from the time he got beat up at the concert by four buff bikers as he got both legs broken plus a few ribs. Every hard punch on the chest made him scream in pain as other male prisoners who are fathers rush over and grabbed the gang members as a huge fight ensues. Officers came in including the warden as the chef already gave him a bottle of blood as the female officer pick up Elijah and brought him to the infirmary as a nurse came and put the cast on his broken arm.

"You poor little boy. Are you alright?" The female officer asked

"Ow ow.. I hate this." Elijah whimpered

"Ooh looks like you got a few broken ribs and a broken arm." The nurse said

"Not again!!! I've got beaten up at a concert and now here?!!" Elijah growled

"Elijah calm down." The second female officer said

"No I won't calm down!! This is the second time I got beat up! I wanna go home and see my daddies and my crush!" Elijah cried

The female officers begin to comfort Elijah as he continue to cry. When lunch is over, Elijah is now doing some exercise to work on his legs as he begin to do some squats.

"10." Elijah said

"Very good. Now do some leg ups! Give me 10 of them!" The male officer said

"Sir yes sir!" Elijah said

Elijah begin to do some leg ups as the other male prisoners lifted some weights, do push-ups or sit-ups, and even jump rope. After the leg ups, the officer patted his head softly as Elijah begin to giggle.

"Shower time." The female officer said

Elijah look to find a shower as he begin to see Lex putting a plastic bag over the cast to prevent it from getting wet as another male prisoner who is black, in his 30s with braids in the hair and have blue eyes came over and set Elijah inside and help him wash his body as Elijah did the same while looking away.

"I've been arrested for murder. You're not a tough kid but you're an innocent one. I saw you on the news and that gets me pissed off. A kid like yourself shouldn't be in this situation. This is where people die, rapist will take advantage and you can't leave out there." The male prisoner said

Elijah nodded as the guy gave him a clean jumpsuit and begin to bend down to his height.

"I promise you, you'll be free as a bird." The male said

After the shower, Elijah went inside as he got some art supplies as he sit down and started to look as he begin to use his stump to paint a picture of his parents Francis and Vincent Sinclair. He started tearing up as he is finish with the painting and cried himself to sleep as the female officer hang up the picture to dry. He wanted to be out of jail instead of being treated like a criminal.
