Our story starts in my own home in Nashville Tennessee. I woke up one morning thinking, "This is gonna be a great day, and nothing can bring me down." I ran downstairs to make me some breakfast cause I was so excited to go out and explore what the snow day had in store for me. Once I had finished making myself pancakes and eggs with some fresh chocolate milk, I decided to hop in my truck and go on a road trip across the country.
I was driving across the country when something interesting caught my eye. What I spotted was sitting in a junkyard in Peidmont Alabama, and it was absolutely amazing what caught my eye. What caught my eye was a 1969 Chevrolet Chevelle SS 454. This car was sitting in the junkyard and my heart sank. It was sitting in all its factory Cherry Red glory. The paint was quite faded and there were quite a bit of rust spots all over it. Once I laid eyes on this majestic vehicle, I decided to take my truck and trailer and back it into the yard and have them load the car onto my trailer so I can take it home to my house in tennessee.
On my way home with the Chevelle on the trailer I had the biggest scare of my life. While I was driving on the highway, and I had to keep control of the truck and trailer because I ran over something on the highway and blew out a tire on the truck. I had to grip onto the steering wheel and keep control of the truck and keep it from veering off the road and flipping.
After I pulled over and stopped, I used my jack off the trailer to jack up the truck and put the full size spare on and made sure all the lugs were tight and torqued them down to specs. So once the tire was on I packed up all my tools and the jack back up on the trailer and headed back on the road to go home with the Chevelle. My Silverado was running low on gas. I was just outside of gatlinburg so I stopped at a 7/11 so I could fill up the tank and get myself a coffee. Once I got myself coffee and paud for my tank of gas, I left the 7/11 and headed on my way home.
