33. happily ever after

A new day was starting. Demi and Niall were both layed down in their bed. Niall opened his sleepy eyes and yawned. He stretched himself and smiled seeing Demi beside him.

-Good morning.-he whispered in her ear.

She still had her eyes closed but Niall knew she was awake. When Demi heard Niall's voice on her ear she smiled. She slowly opened her eyes and turned to him. He put his arm around her waist.

-Good morning, Mr. Horan.-she whispered, making him smile.

-Good morning, Mrs. Horan.- Niall said, smiling widely.

-Niall, you know that I kept my name, stop it.

He frowned.

-Aw, honey, are you still sad that I didnt change my name?

-No, I'm sad that you didnt let me change mine to Niall Lovato.

She laughed. It sounded pretty good to her but she didnt want him to get her name just because she didnt get his. Suddenly, a baby's cry came from the room next door.

-Fuck.-Demi said.

-She's calling you.-Niall said, taking his arms off her.

-Why me? Why don't you go?

-Because I don't have boobs to feed her.

-I don't do that anymore.

-But... Cant you just go?

She stretched herself in the bed and kissed Niall in the cheek, but when she was about to get out of the bed another child called.

-Mom.-a little boy said.-Mooooom.

They both looked at each other. They knew that if one of them got to the boy's room first the other had to take care of the baby girl. They both got up and ran to the boy's room. Niall got there first and then Demi reached him. She slapped his back annoyed.

-I start to think that that knee problem was all a lie.-Demi said, raising her eyebrow.-You always run faster than me.

-That's because I don't have a big ass like yours to hold me back.

-You love my big ass.-she said, walking away to the baby's room.-And i know you are looking at it.

Niall looked away.

-No, I wasn't.

She laughed and walked in the baby's room. Niall also walked in the boy's room. A boy with about 6 years old was sitting inside his bed's covers.

-Liam.-Niall said, sitting on the bed.-What's up, buddy?

-Where's mom?

-She is taking care of Thalia. What happened?

-I woke up from a nightmare and I heard Thalia crying so I thought I was in it.

-What happened in that nightmare?

-Well, I went to the new school and then everyone was making fun of me and then I was eaten by one of the teachers.

-Wow.-Niall raised his eyebrow.-Are you worried about your first day?

Liam nodded. Liam had Niall's blue eyes and Demi's smile. His sweaty brown hair was on his eyes and he was staring at his dad, scared. Niall got closer to him and hugged him. Then, when Liam pulled away, Niall put his hand on his chin and made the little boy look at him.

-Liam. You have nothing to worry.-Niall kissed Liam's forehead, putting his hairs out of the way.-No one will mock you. I know it must be hard for you to start a new school specially in a new country but everything will be fine, okay, champ?
