Hide's point of view (let's call it POV from now on) POV

Hide walked home thinking who should be his study partner (he needed one desperately) "I could choose Seido but he messes about too much, hmmm maybe Akira? No she's too serious. " He sighed "Never mind that now Hide you have homework to do and it ain't small".

Kaneki's POV

"I could ask him if he wanted to be my study partner? Yeah that could work!"
Kaneki obviously knew in his heart of hearts he couldn't talk to Hide publicly
as he would mess up his words, but it was difficult enough trying to talk to Hide anyway with Kaneki being the introvert and Hide being an extrovert.

Kaneki played over some more scenarios in his mind and was struck by a really good idea "I could ask him if he wanted to study and have coffee at that new coffee place that opened up!"

Perfect thought Kaneki. Perfect.
