8-Mine (Finale)

Kaneki was shocked "w-what?" Hide says looking like he's interviewing Kaneki for a job "you heard me correctly did you not?" Hide reminded Kaneki (and the readers of the story) "do you love me?" Kaneki was flustered and said "Hide....... I've loved you from the start of the year and I've sketched you and I've tried to get you to love me" then there was silence and all Kaneki felt was sadness dread loneliness and worst of all rejection it hurt to think of that word but that's what he felt, then after a few minutes of silence Hide said "do you want to know what's on the paper?" Kaneki nodded silently as Hide showed him and Kaneki's face lights up. It was a picture of him reading a book but it had a love heart drawn round It in red sharpie.

Hide passionately kissed Kaneki but then Kaneki pulls away from the kiss for a moment and says "Hide I love you and you are finally"...........mine
