Well as I predicted we got to school on time, we barged through the front doors of the school and walked to our lockers. As I wandered down the hallway, all I could see were people staring at me and pointing. I felt extremely uncomfortable and I didn't like that I could hear them whispering about me as I walked to my locker. A few moments later, I arrived at my locker, I began to put my things away and took the things I needed for first and second period. After I locked my locker, I could see Ashley and Brittany, two girls I hated more than anything standing right behind me, they didn't say anything, they just stood there in muteness.

"Can I help you guys with something?", I said raising my left eyebrow.

"We just wanted to see how you were holding up?", Ashley said.

"We heard about the death of your sister.", said, Brittany.

"Why do you care, you didn't even like my sister or me.", I said folding my arms.

"Look, we know we are not exactly easy to get along with, but we are very sorry about Carisa.", Ashley said placing her hand over her heart.

"Yeah, it's horrible.", Brittany said.

"Well I'm fine, thanks but I don't need your sympathy.", I said starting to walk away.

After I moved away from Ashley and Brittany, I began walking towards my first-period class. When I became nearby from my classroom, I could see that my teacher, Mr. Jefferson, was staring at me as I approached the classroom door. I suspected that he was going to ask me the same question everyone else asked, but he didn't. He just continued to stare at me as I entered the room. I walked to my seat, staring at the people that were staring back at me. When I sat down, I could sense eyes on me, I felt as if everyone in the classroom were staring or whispering about me. When the first period was nearly ended, I was ready to zoom out of the room as soon as the bell rung. As I looked towards the clock I could see a guy named Chris staring at me, I didn't know how to react so I just stared back at him. Before I knew it, the bell rang and the class was finally over. I tried to hurry up and leave, but Mr.Jefferson asked me to stay. He requested me over to his desk. On my way to Mr. Jeffersons desk, that boy Chris continued to stare as he walked past me. Mr.Jefferson was sitting on his desk, waiting for me to come over.

"Yes, Mr.Jefferson.", I said with a fake smile.

"I know you're going through a lot right now.", he said.

"But if you need a place to stay, I have an extra room at my house, my wife and I would love to have you.", he said with a smile.

"Thanks, but I'm fine where I'm staying now.", I said.

"Okay, I understand but in case you change your mind, take this.", he handed me a key with his apartment number on it.

"No that's okay, you keep it, I won't be needing it.", I said handing the keys back to him.

"Emily, please take it, I want you to know that you have a place if you need it.", he said placing his hand on my shoulder.

"You're my teacher. Do you really think that's appropriate.", I said taking the keys back.

"It'll be our little secret.", he said stepping towards me.

"Thanks, but I think I'm fine.", I said walking away.

I couldn't wrap my mind around what Mr. Jefferson was trying to do and I didn't want to know, so I decided to disregard everything that happened. I proceeded to my second-period class. When I passed by the girl's bathroom, I could see Julian standing at the water fountain reading a piece of paper.
