Chapter 1

3rdPOV;

It was a normal morning in Tokyo, You were just getting up to go to school. It was the 4th & you were going to see if you could go over to Neela's for a few days. Neela is one of your best friends & your science partner for a science project that is due on the 8th. When you got up you went to go ask your dad if it would be alright for you to spend a few days at Neela's. You walked out to the garage to see your dad working on an old beat up dodge charger. "Hey dad, is it ok if I go over to Neela's for a few days, so we can work on our science project that is due in 4 days?" Looking up to you he said, "Morning Y/n, of course you can as long as you finish that project & you remember to be safe." In reply you said, "Yes thank you & I will be safe, along with finishing the project. I will see you after school, so I can grab my things. Love you dad." "Love you to Y/n."

You got in your car that you cot for your 16th birthday, it is a y/c in c/c. You were so happy when you seen that your dad got you the car you always wanted. Anyways, you are on your way to school in your school uniform with everything you need for school in your book bag. You couldn't wait to get to school to see Neela & tell her that you would be able to stay at her place for a couple days. When you got to school, you met up with Neela, & DK. You & Neela are DK's girls, but neither of you mind. You & Neela are best friends & if DK hurts either you or Neela in anyway, you both end it with DK. Also DK is quiet possessive of you & Neela, so everyone knows that you 2 are DK's girls & not to mess with either of you. You met up with Neela, & together you both headed to history, after history was over you went to physics. That was how you school day normally is. It was now time for lunch so you & Neela went out to eat & met up with DK. "Hey Dk what are you up to?" you said. "Nothing just wanted to see how my girls are & see if maybe they wanted to race tonight?" Dk replied while glancing at both you & Neela. You glanced at Neela giving her a questioning look. "Sure but me & Y/n have a project he have to work on for science." Neela responded with a smile. Once lunch was over you & Neela returned to school to finish out the last to classes you had which just happened to be art & science.

When school ended you & Neela drove to your house so you can grab your stuff, you would have met Neela at her house but she wanted to come & say hi to your dad. "Hey dad I'm home, I'm going to grab my stuff, oh & Neela's here." You called out to your dad when you walked in the house. While you were grabbing everything you needed for the few days you weren't going to be home, you heard your dad talking to Neela. When you were done getting everything you needed, you walked back out to the living room, "Hey Neela, ready to go?" you asked. "Yeah, Bye Mr. Boswell." Neela said. "Bye Neela & be safe Y/n." your dad replied. "I will, love you." You said then went out to your car. You had a lot of stuff, you fit what you can in your car & Neela said that you can put the rest in her car. When you had everything packed in both cars, you & Neela drove to her house.

When you got to Neela's house, you greeted DK's grandmother. She was always so happy to see you. She is like a grandma you never had. When you first moved to Tokyo, you didn't know anyone. When you first met Neela it was at school and DK's grandmother came to pick her up. Neela introduced you to DK's grandmother, and she was so happy to see Neela had found a friend that made her happy after she lost her parents. She was so nice to you. You loved her like she was your own grandmother. "Kon'nichiwa"(Hello) You said. "Kon'nichiwa genkidesuka?"(Hello, how are you) she replied. "Genkidesu yo Anata wa?"(Fine, how are you). "Yoi arigato."(Good, thank you).

After talking to her, you & Neela went up to her room so you can drop your stuff off then head to the race. "Watashitachiha-go de ai ni iku tsumoridesu Takashi."(We will be back later, we are going to meet up with Takashi). You & Neela headed to the race to see Takashi race. You each took your own cars, so you could also race. When we arrived DK & Morimoto greeted us. "Hey girls what have you been doing." Morimoto said. "Hey Morimoto, what are you doing?" You responded. "Nothing, just getting ready to race, are you racing tonight?" he asked. "Maybe? I don't know." You answered. "Hey Y/n, how are you? Oh Morimoto, it's time for you to race. Come on Y/n, Neela lets go." DK said. "Good luck Morimoto." Neela said. Morimoto left to go to the starting line while DK, Neela, & you, went to the top of the car garage. After about 6-7 minutes you all seen Morimoto's car drive up the ramp. A few seconds after Morimoto showed up, the other racer appeared.

You decided that you were going to race, & Neela wanted to race you. You and Neela lined up at the starting line. "Ready," one girl said, "Set," another girl said, "GO!" the announcer said while walking in between Neela's & yours car. Once you heard go you both took off. You were both speeding & drifting the corners. So far Neela was in the lead, but in the last turn she went to wide & you sped ahead. You drifted up to the top of the car garage & was met by everyone cheering. Neela was right behind you so when you stopped, she pulled up next to you. "Good race Y/n." "You too Neela." Whenever it was you & Neela racing, it was always a guessing game of who would win, you & Neela were both really great drivers, but you both would go back & forth on who would win. It was like every time you won, the next race Neela would win, & vice versa. You & Neela had the same amount of wins when you raced each other, but when you raced other people, you would both come in first, yes there was times when you both lost, but most of the time you two would win. The only real time you two lost is when you both go against DK & Morimoto.

When you all were done racing for the night, Neela & you left to go home. Dk went with you two so he could stop by & say hello to his grandmother before he went home, & to make sure that his two girls got home safe. "Kon'nichiwa Sobo."(Hello grandmother.). "Kon'nichiwa Takashi."(Hello Takashi.). "Korera no 2tsu ga jitaku de anzen ni natta koto o kakunin suru dakedesu."(Just making sure these two got home safe.). "Arigatogozaimashita Takashi"(Thank you Takashi, it was nice to see you, come by more often.). "Watashi wa sobo ni naru."(I will grandmother.). "Sayonara sobo, watashi wa ashita mo yamemasu."(Bye grandmother, I will stop by tomorrow too.). "Sayonara Takashi, ashita o ai shimashou."(Bye Takashi, see you tomorrow.). "Good night Neela. Good night Y/n." Takashi said. "Good night Takashi." Both you & Neela responded.

It is the 6th, Neela & I have been working on our science project every day. Last night we finished the project so we just have a few days to hang out till I go home. "Hey Neela since we are done with the project, what do you want to do?" "I don't know, want to go drift up on the mountain just for fun like old times?" "Sure let's see if the rest want to come too." "Okay let's ask Takashi, Morimoto, & Han also." "Okay." Neela & I contacted everyone to see if they wanted to join us, & like normal they said they would join. Takashi said he would join to make sure we didn't get hurt. Morimoto said he would join because Takashi joined. Han joined for the fun of it. Our other friends said they would join because we haven't done this is a while. Neela & I were getting ready to go out for the rest of the day before we go to the mountain to drift. We went to the store & bought some new clothes, & went to get food. When we returned, we got ready to go drifting. We met everyone at the top of the mountain. "Hey guys, how have you been?" "Good." Some replied others replied with "Fine."

Once we knew everyone was here, we all got in our cars & drifted. I love to drift, every time I drift I feel free like I can do whatever I want & not have to worry about anything else. When I reached the bottom, I met up with Neela & Takashi. We all went home & Takashi stopped by just like he promised. "Kon'nichiwa Sobo."(Hello grandmother.). "Kon'nichiwa Takashi."(Hello Takashi.). Takashi left, & Neela & I went to sleep. Before I went to sleep, I seen I had a text from dad, 'When you come home on the 9th, there is someone that will be staying with us from now on.' I replied with, 'Okay, who is it?' all I got back was, 'You will see, good night.' 'Okay, good night.' Then I went to sleep.
